Totally Chic Salon & Spa — Attraction in Calabash

Honestly I liked this hair salon in the past but will not be returning I had this girl add “highlights” to my hair and she gave me dark brow roots!!! I had an appointment that day which I almost missed so she didn’t have time to fix it she told me to come back tomorrow and we could fix it (also tipped her extremely well for not like it) so I came back the next day and she refused to fix it and she said I would have to come back when she had time She acted like I was the least of her worries I will make sure I tell all my friends to stay away from this hair salon I went to Ulta and they fixed me up happily and it came out great I recommend going to tangles hair salon in Holden Beach or Ulta beauty in North Myrtle Beach.... do not trust this hair salon they will ruin your hair my hair stylist was so upset she seen how totally chick did my hair she even told me that it was all uneven and that it looks like the girl didn’t know what she was doing at first she didn’t believe me that I got it done at a hair salon Once again totally check hair salon is the worst hair salon I’ve ever...

Since moving to the area 6 years ago, I was reluctant to try a new salon for quite a while but kept saying to myself every time I passed by Totally Chic Salon, "I have to make an appointment and try them out". Given the current pandemic, as soon as Governor Cooper gave the green light for salons to open back up, I immediately called Totally Chic Salon. Y'all, I had such a great experience with my first time at the salon! Upon arriving Haley (stylist) met me and made me feel so welcomed! I walked in with an inspiration photo that I found online and Haley truly did an awesome job with my haircut and style and topped all of my expectations!! After 4 years of unflattering haircuts and stylists tell me what style THEY thought i should have Totally Chic was my last hope. I tried Sherilyn Higgins randomly and began a friendship that has lasted years. I don't trust anyone else to cut or color my hair. I explained the latest trendy style i wanted and first gently explained why that wouldn't work for my hair. Then we collaborated and she told me what would work. Now, 5+ years later I simply sit in her chair and say do what you think would look best. She has styled my hair short and we've now grown it mid length.
