It wasn't horrible but I've done lots of shows and it just feels dirty and old. And I know that makes me sound like a snob but its just not a great place to do shows. 1- When you have to switch from stage left to stage right (vice versa) in a really quick transition you have to run through the hallway to the other side. Which is not only a pain in the butt, but people from the audience who maybe took a break from the show can see you running through the lobby/hall. Because its the main freaking hall! I mean who even designed thus stuff! 2- there are 2 dressing rooms. One for boys and one for girls. Which is fine, ya know thats great but they're downstairs. So if you have a quick change you can't go down to the dressing room you change in the middle of the main hall. Where -once again- stray audience members can see you! And that just completely ruins the magic of the show. Not just the fact that they saw you in your underwear. 3- because the dressing rooms are downstairs you have to convert the upstairs 'pioneer room' into dressing/makeup room which means racks and racks of costumes and not enough mirrors for the - what feels like - 100s of people trying to do their makeup at one time.
I guess its a good place for choirs and stuff but definitely not a large cast production like the ones...

Well, the manager of the Auditorium came out right before the show and said they weren't going to turn on the AC, but they would monitor the heat to see if it was necessary. It was the funniest joke anyone told the entire night! It was already extremely hot when the manager told that joke. Everyone in my row laughed and laughed at her absolutely ridiculous comment!
As the show went on, it got hotter and the air got stale. It was beyond miserable. By the time the headliner came out, it was impossible to laugh. Everyone was sweating like pigs (or maybe even something that actually sweats).
There is no chance that I'd ever go there again. I don't care what they have going on. They can't seem bothered to do the absolute bare minimum for their audience. If basic audience comfort is not important to them, you...
Read moreMixed feelings about this venue, it's classy & comfortable, but as soon as we sat down it was like being in middle school - as an adult. The seats are soft enough to sit for a couple of hours in, but not really for anyone over 5'5" tall. about as much legroom as a coach seat on a Southwest Airlines flight. On the plus side, the acoustics are great, and the view of the stage is good from...
