No mask I went to the Caldwell, Idaho Taco Time on thursday, October 29th around 7:30pm. It took about a half hour waiting in the drive up line before I receive my order. The food was good and hot, the service was good. The only complaint I have is that not one employee was wearing a face mask! There were three ladies/employees in the front servicing customers and the drive up lane customers; not one these employees were wearing a mask, I could see two employees in the back cooking and they too were not wearing a masks. There was no protection of any kind at the drive up window, there was no plexiglass shield of any kind to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading. All I can say, I will not be coming again to the Caldwell Taco Time anytime soon, due to unsafe conditions. I also advise anyone who values theirs and other people's lives not to go as well! Caldwell's Taco Time needs to definitely up grade their safety precaution in order to protect all customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I don't think I've ever been to this location. It's just another Taco Time when it comes to the food. The inside was clean.
The thing that set this Taco Time aside from others was the staff. They were ALL very kind and personable. There was a younger kid working the cash register. This kid is going to go places! This location also has all kinds of smoothies (which were delicious) as I had ordered a couple. The kid was making them and another customer came up asking about his charges on his receipt. He was a little irritated in his tone. The kid handled this guy like a pro! He explained the receipt and was very empathetic in his explanation. The guy changed his tone and finally thanked the kid for explaining it.
I thought..Dang!! This establishment is lucky to have such a great young man working for them!
When we left, ALL of the staff said "Have a great night!"
Kudos Taco Time!
We will definitely stop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever again Taco Time! Used to be a favorite but I was very disappointed today. For Cinco de Mayo my family wanted tacos so I headed to our very favorite authentic Mexican food stop but it was too busy so I figured Taco Time would be a good alternative. The staff was nice at first but when I mentioned I didn't receive one of my drinks I was treated like I was a problem. The staff got my drink and hung on to it while they took another customer's order before handing to me. After I got home I found 2 items were missing from my bag and the whole order of 4 tacos, 4 small drinks, 3 soft chicken tacos and a crisp burrito meal cost me more than 5 full meal take out orders from our favorite restaurant and the tacos were on sale. $6 dollars for 4 small drinks!!!! It's only a$1 for any large at...
