I wasn’t looking for much but I noticed they had a new blizzard advertised so, I ordered a small one through the DQ app. When I arrived I noticed a sign on the door stating for the staff to be respected. As I entered the location at 2324 Blaine St. I noticed how slow the place was. Only one group of guys eating and the rest was empty, yet it still took a few minutes for me to even be noticed and even then it was by the cook and not front counter staff. When I was finally addressed it wasn’t with a smile or any kind enthusiasm. I informed the woman that I had ordered online, she asked if I had ordered the blizzard and I confirmed. She was very efficient at making my order and was done in under two minutes. As she handed me my order I thanked her and walked to my car. I took one small bite and as I scooped up another bite I found a hair in my blizzard. I took the hair out and returned to inside to inform them and show them the hair. The woman who had helped me (possible mgr.) looked annoyed and threw it away and asked one of her other employees to remake my order. I noticed on this second time around that none of the employees were wearing hair nets including the manager. I am not aware of DQ’s policies but I think it should be a standard in fast food. The second employee finished with my order and handed it to me with a smile and I thanked him. I returned to my car and enjoyed my blizzard very much. It was made perfectly! Plenty of toppings and thick. I will be back but maybe in...
Read moreSo, I went in there when it was about 97 degrees out, but there was a weird smell at the time and I had an allergic reaction with a Blizzard they sold me and had a lot of flies all over the place.
That said the cashier was pretty nice to us, and I guess they've had to put out signs asking people to stop bullying their younger workers. While I do wish the staff the best I hope they can fix up some of the issues they had.
Edit: I've been meaning to do this for a while, but this is a follow-up to what had occurred. After having contact with DQ Corp and talking with the manager, they had me try two different items on their menu and even warned me of other potential allergic reaction hazards. The smell that I had previously mentioned was from a fly repellent they were using, and the flies had been coming in due to the rodeos that happen around here.
I'm leaving up what had happened previously as their service after my reaction have been well done in my opinion. Service work is still underappreciated here in the US, so I would like to thank the staff at this DQ again for helping to...
Read moreI order my sons cake here every year for his birthday. This yeas is my last year buying anything from Dairy Queen. I placed and paid for my cake order on Monday June 24th and went over the details on how to spell my sons name, she got it right. She repeated it back to me and I told her yes it was correct. So I go to pick up my cake today and I show up and my sons name is spelt WRONG, I tell the cashier that the name is spelt wrong. She takes the cake back to her manager and they tried wiping off the extra letters that were added to my sons name, and completely smeared the icing all over the cake. The cashier brought the cake back to me and said “this is as best as we can do, sorry.” I quickly told her that’s not what I paid for. She said that’s as best as they can do, and they she was sorry. I told her I would like to speak with the manager, then she tells me that there is no manager in today. Okay I was told that the manager is the one who tried to fix the cake. So long story short they didn’t fix my cake, and wouldn't return my money back. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO...
