Is an honest dentist harder to find than an honest mechanic?

When my car needs work and I’m feeling nervous about what is acting up concerned about how much the cost of repairs will take a hit on my fixed income and as a woman questioning whether I will be taken advantage of at the dealership, I seek out a mechanic who is known to be truthful about estimating the cost of the repairs and who has the skills to accomplish the job without messing things up further. (Yes a rare find at times)

When my teeth need work, it can feel even more stressful because this is my mouth being worked on and not just a car with much more at stake if the repair goes awry. So it is even more essential for me to find a dentist who will be honest about what work actually needs to be done without price gouging with the expertise to fix things without making matters worse.

As a senior on a fixed income with no dental insurance, he has always been sensitive to my financial situation and only recommends what is essential for maintaining my dental health. His office even offers dental discounts that will save you money on cleanings, x-rays and 15% off procedures when you purchase the yearly plan.

I came here about a year ago, one of my teeth was broken and infected. went in and dr noone claimed to my husband that i had 1 less wisdom tooth than normal people (totally wrong btw I did have 4) and that he had to pull them all. let me tell you, I have a horrible fear of dentists, and this experience doesn't help. when it came to pulling my infected tooth, it was so bad that the numbing shots didn't work, and I felt everything...i pleaded for him to stop, I was screaming and crying in there as he continued pulling the tooth, telling me to shut up and to be quiet because "it's not that bad" Dr noone told me to shut up because I was screaming, i was screaming because I got my tooth was so infected that the shot didn't work..when he pulled out the 3 wisdom teeth after that I felt nothing...still was crying but the shots worked for those. The gentle, gracious chair side manner that emanates from the deeply gifted Dr. Haleh Bazargan, truly is a remarkable and settling experience! What needs to be said regarding her colleague, the highly respected and beloved Dr. Robert Noone, the dentist's dentist! Perhaps three words - le premiere e'toile!!!
