CD Outdoors LLC — Local services in Camp Verde

Absolutely amazing company, customer service that goes above and beyond expectations, and great vibe overall. We rented two packrafts from Carlos and Diana for a 6 day GC adventure and had the best time. Carlos took extra steps to ensure our trip was a reality. It would have been impossible to make this trip without him! Due to the many, many ducks we came across, plus other stories too long for this post, we named our boats respectively: sir ducksworth the third and ducksbill baggins. If you get these boats just know they embraced 6 days of some epic memories that you are getting to add onto. We not only learned about a great company to rent from in the future, but also gained a friend for future adventures. We hope he can make it out with us on our next trip! I couldn’t say enough positive things about CD outdoors.

Edited to add: I almost forgot, we also bought his custom designed Nalgene water bottle holders which held up over many a waterfall and was great to have handy, but securely clipped in on the boat. I’d def recommend getting one for your...

I purchased a packraft from CD outdoors LLC it took 10 months for my boat to arrive from China however CD outdoors was very generous and allowed me to use a loaner boat while waiting for mine to arrive. The second time I blew up my boat it had a leaky seam I was on the upper salt River with the owner of the company Carlos. Carlos admitted the boat was faulty informed me he would fix it or give me a refund. The entire trip was scary because my boat was leaking air I kept putting Tyvek over the leak. Carlos was extremely cranky at me telling me he was on vacation and he did not want to fix boats. On the last day Carlos put the temporary patch you see in the picture but it is coming loose. Carlos has blocked me since this trip and is refusing to refund my money for the boat or repair my boat. I’m now stuck with a brand new boat that has a hole in it I can’t use. CD outdoor sells cheap‘s boats from China they don’t stand behind their product. I would not...

I haven’t even got in the water with these guys, Carlos and Diana have been nothing but wonderful on the phone and I am looking forward to meeting them. This will be a memorable trip for our family, and we are happy, and privileged to have found these great folks, promising to make the visit even better by knowing some cool locals!

Next we get there, and omg better than you can imagine! The best cup of Colombian coffee I’ve ever had, then carefully, professionally, and artistically outfitted, and off to the river! Carlos is a super talented dry bag, and now too also boat manufacturer. I had to get one of his (reasonably priced hand-made dry bag with four point attachments, quick inflate, breath or bag for storage and floatage.
