Close by, great bird watching, nice place to walk the dog, excellent photographic opportunities . One drawback -- access through and around by both foot and bicycle. Many bicycle commuters use Los Gatos Creek Trail, which is one way to access, especially from the north and west. These folks practice little to no bicycle etiquette. They actually break the law constantly by failing to slow down and not calling out a warning when passing pedestrians. They generally are travelling way too fast given the amount of traffic on this mixed use trail. And I am not just some grumpy walker who hates cyclists -- I am an ex-racer (more than half a million lifetime miles) and cycling advocate. I ride regularly, own many bicycles, and am fairly well-known in the Bay Area cycling community. If you walk here and use the paved sections of trails, watch out for bikes, because they are not watching...

Amazing spot that is nestled right off of the busy 17 highway, but you barely even notice the highway while youโ€™re there. A little difficult to find the parking lot, we mapped it but if you get off at the wrong exit on 17 you might have to go very out of the way to get where you want to go. Once there, it is a very peaceful spot. Lots of benches, shade, and the ponds are so beautiful. Very nice wildlife as well - lots of ducks, chipmunks, and lizards. Perfect place for a picnic, bike ride, or...

Not a busy place, When I visited Bird Watching Meetup group was exploring this area. Otherwise quite place to walk...

I think this would be a good place to visit on a cool day, we were there on a hot day, it was dry and hot, very little shade. I was able to see an Egret but that's all, again, it's best to visit during cooler weather or after the winter rains.
