The Armory and Indoor Range — Attraction in Canal Fulton

I was in the market for a particular Glock model that not all gun shops would carry. I was told by a good friend to check The Armory in Canal Fulton. Upon entering the shop I first noticed how spacious and clean the place was.Ok maybe weird, just telling the truth, lol. I then noticed that all the handguns were displayed in a very orderly fashion, they were grouped by manufacturer. Inside the display case the handgun prices were clearly marked and spaced very neatly, making it very easy to read the tags and find what I was looking for. Very quickly Tim asked me what I was looking for, not like he was trying to force a sale, but like striking up a casual conversation. Tim was very easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about, not only the firearms they sell, but firearms in general. They did have what I was looking for, and as I filled out my part of the paperwork Tim took care of his part as well. Tim made the process very easy. From the time I walked into the shop, I had fully purchased my handgun within 20 minutes. If you have ever purchased a handgun from a shop you know that this can be a drawn out process, but not here! Before leaving I went over and checked out their range. Colin was working the range. Colin quickly, but not pushy, explained that the range was was for handguns and shotguns, and distances available . Noise canceling from the firearms was very good as well. This side of the Armory was also very clean and spacious as well. If and when you are in the market for firearms or accessories I would definitely place The Armory at the top of your list. Great gun store and indoor range. Had an excellent first time shooter experience here. I had very minimal experience long ago with shooting handguns and wanted to learn firearm safety and how to shoot properly so I looked this place up and gave it a try. They have a nice, easy online appointment scheduling system for scheduling private/group lessons, reasonable pricing I might add. They have a nice big classroom for the knowledge portion and then we go to the range after. The instructors were excellent, patient, professional and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed, had a lot of my questions answered. Brian was my main instructor. He was fun to work with, very smart and safe in teaching the most important aspects of firearm safety. He was never pushy or egotistical like some places may be so I never felt intimidated or inferior. He did a great job proving feedback and positive reinforcement on things I was doing well which made me feel confident in handling the gun. He was kind in reminding me on safety and how to improve, and knew great techniques to correct errors. Tim was also another instructor that was great and patient. Nobody was ever pushy or rushed. They both gave great advice and recommendations on the best guns/what to work on for my individual circumstance and needs. They have a great selection of guns to buy and accessories and ammo. Overall a great, comfortable place to shoot and chill...

Randomly found this place while looking for a different gunstore. Went in and found a plethora of AR parts, which was awesome because I build ARs. I bought a lower receiver at a good price and went back today to buy a AR10 308 receiver set.

Update: still 5 star experience smaller store but what they do have is an excellent price and im more than positive than could special order you anything as long as the warehouse/ suppliers have it in stock. Very personable and friendly unlike another gun store i frequent. It honestly goes a long way. I'll drive out to Canal Fulton before I go to my LGS to see if the armory has it first, despite my LGS having a bigger selection. They treat you like they actually want your business and actually want you to come back. Last winter got a screaming deal on a suppressor that the fedbois just approved and will be there the moment the store opens...
