Luca Pastry — Restaurant in Canton Township

I got a cake this past Saturday made the serving size were seven. People can eat. I paid $100. I got a cake that’s called a burnt cake and the top of the cake did not burnt. This location is Livonia. I called I complained I sent the video the manager which is a lady. She stated they did everything correctly. Maybe I lit it wrong. I had to peel off the top of the cake without it burning and she did not offer me anything. then she asked me to come up there because she can show me that it does work. She showed me a sheet of paper without anything on it without any frosting without any label on there unprinted paper. And she burnt a Unprinted sheet of paper without anything Being on there, literally a sheet of paper. Not only did they waste my time for coming up there, but I was upset. The end result is that I got police caught on me. I did not threaten one person. I did not damage their facility. I will never recommend this place to anyone is literally illegally robbing people you can do that and then you call the police on people. And to add to it, the guy told me it was the first time they ever done a burnt cake but when I talked to management, she stated that it was done correctly. They did not make a mistake. I...

This bakery is THEE ABSOLUTE BEST! I needed a cake for my daughter's Confirmation. Well, I waited until the night before to try to find one and all the bakeries were closed, including my go to bakery that was not open the entire day despite their business hours saying differently. I came across Luca bakery and called them with little hope that they'd even be open. Not only were they open, but took a special order from me over the phone assuring me it would no problem to have the cake ready the next day. We ordered an 8" cake, but it had three layers with a choice of three different fillings. I threw in some ideas, but the person who took my order made some suggestions that perfected what I wanted. She told me the cake would be ready by 1 pm the next day-no problem. This was at about 5:45 pm the night prior. We picked it up the next day at 1 pm and it was simply the best cake I've ever tasted! We've been here twice, decided to try it based on reviews, and have been happy with our experience and purchases both times. The first time we got a birthday cake, quick and easy process and it was delicious. The second time we came for lots of random desserts that caught our attention on our first visit. The kids loved the cake pops, cheaper and better than Starbucks so definitely a win. Everything was great, but on to my personal favorite, the cheesecake. I love cheesecake, it has always been my favorite dessert, but with that said, I also hate graham cracker crust and I never eat it. 🤣🤷‍♀️ Until I had cheesecake from Luca's. It was so good, I ate every bite. I have no idea what they do differently, but I will never get cheesecake from anywhere else from here on out.
