$53 for soup (×2) and 1 fried chicken breast with a baked potato and side of mashed potatoes. 😂🤣 👎🏽 Noy only was it a joke of a price for $53 but it was absolutely awful. I want a full refund for my time and money being completely wasted. 1. No silverware or napkins packed. Fortunately, i have a fork. Thanks anyway. 2. I've had bigger and better fried chicken breasts from chic fil a for half the price. 3. Why would anyone serve French Onion Soup without the crouton and cheese on the soup ? Why would they take a bread crouton and melt cheese on it then erap it in tin foil? Who packs this food? What are they thinking? 3. The food was straight up cold. The soup containers aren't insulted so they're useless to retain heat. 4. Bread, stale, hard grosd. 5. The bloom sauce for the chicken was less than an oz. The picture shows the fried breast tossed in sauce. But the reality is the food inflation and they give you as little as possible. The To-go containers are plastic and don't retain heat. You're food is always cold upon delivery. The most alarming points of this post are the cost and poor food quality. Having worked for outback as a bus boy, server, headwait, key hourly and and sauté cook for 4 years, this company has completely lost itds way. I'm safe to say I'm done with this franchise. It's degraded quality and rampant menu price increases make this company equal to Golden Corral. Don't waste your money here. I'm not going to be compensated or reimbursed for my lost time or wasted unenjoyable food cost money. So i hope this post reaches enough people and costs them at least $53 in lost business. I had a great delivery driver. Bit whoever packed the food for him to pick up, how do you still have a job after serving suck poor quality in such a sloppy way. I get better presenstion with hot dogs at coney island. Dont spend your money here. $53 for a piece of cold fried chicken, no sauce, cold soups and potatoes and melted cheese wrapped in aluminum foil so you can't put it on the soup because its melted into the foil. Cant make this stuf up folks. They simply just do not care about their food quality or presenstion any longer. Pathetic for the cost and quality. Too bad for the people who go here for a special occasion and think they're getting something 5 star. Go to Golden...
Read moreFirst I would like to say the hostess were great. They were very friendly and helpful. Now getting into the service. The service was really horrible. When our drinks came out it was brought by a different person that did not have straws. He said we needed to get them from our server. Well about 5-10 minutes later our server brought one straw. Then our appetizer came out by someone else. Our server was no where to be seen but the ranch dressing was not with the appetizer nor were the little plates. I had to ask for it. We have been going to the outback for a long time and the ranch and plates come with the appetizers. So needless to say I asked for plates and the server kept saying they are coming as she was walking by. She immediately said see there here. I advised her that that was the dressing and not plates and she kept walking. Another server brought the plates and asked if everything was okay. I said yes and she say be co worker was having a moment because I apparently asked for plates. So I noticed the server coming out of the kitchen wiping her eyes. Then she proceeded to come over to her other tables checking on them and asking if they needed anything and totally ignored our table. Now mind you our server not once before this ordeal did she come over to see if we where okay or to see if we needed anything. We had to ask for straws, plates or anything else we needed because she was to busy to check on us. Granted I totally understand when you are busy but to ignore us from the get go was not nice at all. After her ignoring us for the last time I got up and ask for a manger which took for ever to come and see me. I explained the situation and she proceed to say that maybe she was having a bad day. I advised if she is having a bad day then maybe she should go home and regroup. Everyone has bad days but you don’t take it out on others. The manager never apologized and said the server was one of her top servers. Well this is what you get from one of their best servers. We go there all the time and get great service and everytime we go there are new servers. I really don’t write reviews but this was the last straw of being treated like this. Never again will we go back to the...
Read moreMy son and daughter visited the Westland Outback Steakhouse this afternoon for lunch. After being seated for some time, their waitress, Emily, came over to greet them. They both ordered margaritas, and when asked for identification, they presented their valid, government-issued IDs.
Emily examined their IDs for an unusually long and uncomfortable amount of time. Without asking for permission, she then took both IDs to the back of the restaurant, out of their sight, and was gone for several minutes. Concerned by this, my children flagged down another employee and requested to speak with a manager.
When the manager arrived, Emily returned with the IDs and commented that she had never seen an ID marked with “Not for Federal Use”—a designation that appears on IDs that are not REAL ID compliant. It’s important to note that only my son’s ID included this label. Emily’s responsibility was solely to verify age for alcohol service, not to question or scrutinize federal notations on legally issued IDs.
As a result of this incident, my children felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that they decided to leave the restaurant without ordering any food or drinks. Their lunch outing was completely disrupted by this inappropriate and invasive handling of their personal information.
At the time of this incident, my children were the only African American guests in the restaurant. While I cannot say for certain this was racially motivated, it left them feeling singled out and unwelcome. The situation was deeply invasive and unprofessional. Removing someone’s personal identification without permission—especially one containing private information—and taking it to a private area is a serious breach of trust and customer rights.
If this matter is not properly addressed, I will be compelled to escalate it further. I plan to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), local consumer protection agencies, corporate headquarters, and restaurant review platforms such as Yelp and Google Reviews to ensure this behavior is brought to light and properly documented.
I hope this issue receives the attention and action it deserves. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining the steps being taken to address...
