The Canton Classic Car Museum is a hidden gem. My wife and I visited it because we happened to be in Canton, staying a few blocks from the museum. I was expecting to see some interesting cars but, frankly, I wasn't expecting too much. The website doesn't do the museum justice. There is a great collection of beautifully restored cars, many from the 1930s but others as well. One of the restorers took us on a guided tour that made the visit so much more interesting. He invited us to visit the shop across the street where they were in the process of restoring several 1932 Lincolns. It was very special to see the works in progress. The detail with which these cars are restored is truly remarkable. The museum also has very many historical items unrelated to cars. There's a lot here to see and it's very well...

This place is a must-see not just for classic car enthusiasts, but for anyone who appreciates classic memerobilia from anywhere between the turn of the century to the 80s. It's like stepping back in time to grandma's house, but with dozens of incredible cars!
Highly recommend. Cheap, only takes 2-3 hours to get through, and if you are friendly with the staff and tell them about the cars and items that caught your eye the most, they're happy tell you a bit more about them and give you a closer look at some of their quirks...
Read moreThis is a real treat for nostalgia and history buffs. There are some very cool cars, but even more period collections of all kinds of everyday items from 1900 through about 1960. The people were very welcoming and will give you a guided tour (seemed free) if you ask. I spent about 2 hours here, but could have spent a couple more. Most of the items seemed to be survivors instead of museum restorations which I really appreciated. Highly recommend to those who can keep their hands under control. Most of the cars and other items are right where you can get right up next to them, so children that must touch would have trouble in...
