had the worst experience that I’ve ever had a restaurant. The service was extremely slow from our assigned waitress. At first we thought it was maybe because they were overwhelmed (although it wasn’t that busy) but then we watched our drink sit at the bar for 20mins (no exaggeration) before she brought it over. Although she blamed the bartender for being slow. I kindly requested to speak to a manager, due to not only the drink issue, but water taking a long period of time to come out, and ketchup that was requested. When the manager (Rodney) finally came over he was very condescending and began to put the blame on our table and say that our full party wasn’t there at 7. We explained to him that, that had nothing to do with our drink sitting at the bar for 20 minutes. He then said to me “what would you like me to do?” I told him I didn’t have a solution I just wanted him to be aware. He then told me “look here’s what I’ll do. I’ll comp the whole table and please don’t invite yourself here anymore.” We were very taken back by his response and his words to us. I asked him to repeat himself to make sure I heard him correctly. He repeated the same statement and said it was because we were rude to his employee. My table was fully shocked, because not once were we rude to her. I then told him that I’m an employee of the village, and he was condescending once more and went on to tell me how he knew the owner Mike Crawford and how I couldn’t talk to him until the 19th. As we were walking out, the waitress came to me and apologized(because I was telling another table about my experience) and I asked her why she was apologizing after she caused all of this with her lies. I do not recommend anyone go here! And it’s sad that this is where they expect Celebrities and NFL players to go to, but they treat their...
Read moreWalking in the door, the place is gorgeous. We had a 7pm reservation and we stood at the hostess station and the 2 people behind the bar didn’t even acknowledge us until we walked up to the bar and asked to be seated. Our server was very friendly but not real good at being a server, kinda forgetful and scatterbrained (she only had 3 tables). The Buffalo cauliflower is absolutely amazing as an appetizer. I got a filet that was cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned, it was on a bed of mashed potatoes that were cold and the asparagus was equally cold but had a good flavor! My husband had the ribeye and it was very good as well. We had to go to the bar for drink refills and ask for our check. A man in a suit (possibly manager) was getting waters for other tables but really could have cared less if tables were taken care of or had dirty plates on them! Definitely has potential to be an AMAZING dinner experience of it was run a little smoother! Overall was ok but won’t rush back any time soon unless they are better trained to work together to keep the...
Read moreWe found ourselves here because the first place we went to did not have a license to serve liquor on Sunday. We ordered the pierogi's and a Reuben sandwich. I have never had either, and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint on either dish. The pierogi were amazing. Topped with brisket and cheese on a bed of sour cream. The Reuben was the star for me. The sauerkraut was not bitter like you can sometimes find (so I'm told) and the thousand Island was delicious. Not to mention that meat. The corned beef was delicious. Thinly sliced and piled high. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life and not get tired of it!! That's how good it was. Brandi suggested the sandwich and made some delicious whiskey sours for us. Great place that I hope to visit again soon!!! Thanks to all,...
