Magnolias Bridal Boutique — Attraction in Cape Girardeau

I wish I could give my experience a rating higher, five stars just simply does not feel like enough. Renee and her staff are the sweetest, brightest and most fun individuals! I was feeling pretty unconvinced that I was going to find my dream dress anywhere after trying out a few other places. The second I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a vast assortment of stunning dresses and the most beautiful aesthetic… my optimism came flooding back❤️ As soon as I laid eyes on my dress, I knew it was the one. Everything I could’ve ever wanted AND MORE! Not at all what I had expected! One of the things I appreciated most about Magnolias was the process. We were welcomed in and greeted as if we were lifelong friends of theirs❤️ So easy, painless and most importantly—FUN! Unlike other bridal salons, they let me walk around their show room and touch and feel every single dress. Since their salon is ran by appointment (which I LOVE) our party was the only ones in there at the time. They let us spend as much time as I needed to browse their selection, and explain how each designers worked/could be altered and their price ranges. They had me pick 4 out of the store to take to the dressing room to start with, and out of those 4 I picked my top 2. Each round of try on’s, 2 new dresses would enter the room and the 2 I didn’t choose would exit. There were only 4 dresses in my dressing room at one time, I never felt overwhelmed. After several rounds of trying on different styles I kept going back to my dress, which remained my number one through the whole process. The ladies never once made me feel pressured to get a dress that day, but smiled so sweetly at each dress I tried on. They truly made me feel like the prettiest woman in the world, and as someone who lacks self confidence, this meant the world to me…❤️ I was so eager to go back and pick my dress up, but just as much excited to see the sweet girls there again! I will forever sing their praises and HIGHLY recommend Magnolias Bridal Boutique to anyone and everyone who asks for my opinion. I simply cannot say enough good things. I am writing my review as a mother of the bride. Walking up, there was a sign placed outside the bridal boutique with my daughter’s name on it. I thought the small details were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. I loved that we were greeted the second we walked in and given a tour of the facility. We were able to walk around with my daughter and pull dresses we liked for her to try on. We had a cozy little area to sit and watch her try things on while we sat and chatted. I was feeling a little disappointed to see there were no bridesmaids or mother’s dresses there, as that’s how it was when I got married 25 years ago. But, after the experience we had at magnolias, I completely understand why things are separate and their focus is on the bride. Seeing the smile on my daughter’s face and the way her eyes lit up when she put her dress on made it all make sense and I’m so thankful the focus was on her and making it her day. I liked that there was no pressure for the bridesmaids to feel like they had to get their dresses from one certain place, magnolias only having bridal gowns, opened them up to so many other options and they could make it a day just for the girls as well. I am so glad I purchased my wedding dress from Magnolias Bridal Boutique! Renee was amazing to work with and made the process so enjoyable. I live in St. Louis and was looking for a specific dress, so I called to be sure they had it before driving 2 hours. Not only did they have the dress I was looking for, but Renee ordering in the other Martina Liana dress I had liked at a store in St. Louis so that I could compare them side by side! It made me so much more confident in my decision. Being the only group in the store is so special and intimate, and Renee even suggested a great dinner place in Cape that rounded out our day perfectly after saying yes to the dress!
