Comics and cool stuff — Attraction in Carlisle

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I always see Joe giving back to the community on Facebook groups. Doing giveaways, offering free comics, helping homeless people, donating towards holiday meals for those in need and lending a helping hand to many others. I won a giveaway and stopped in the store with my son to pick the toys up. We were greeted as soon we walked in. The store is very clean and organized; offering a wide variety of comics, action figures, Funko Pops, cards and other cool stuff. While browsing, Joe offered my son Spiderman comics and let him choose a cute plushie for free. My son is very young and not into comics yet, so he wanted just the plushie which he adores. Joe not only chatted with me, but also talked to my son, very kid friendly place!

Joe informed me that he has an online store with even more stuff, so be sure to check that out. He also buys stuff, the list of items he's looking for is on his Facebook page so take a look if you're interested in selling.

Will definitely buy from this place again, so happy we stopped by! Highly recommend!...

My husband and I have come in a few times because we're Pokémon nerds with two kiddos working on collecting too. Fairly priced at first glance and great conversation and atmosphere make sure you stop in when you're in town it'll be a good experience for sure.

Edit: Made my original post on a good day. Today my husband went in solo just to pick some packs of pokemon cards its our harmless hobby and he was treated poorly like he was a scalper just for asking some questions about items they were unboxing in front of the whole store.. so now we see it for what it really is. Ask for 5 star ratings on a good day but complain about your regulars (been in and spent well over 250 with him) like we are strangers. No thanks. Just check pricing with online before buying too we've noticed some a good bit higher than current value. Try at your own risk you might get them on a good day or...

I've left a more generic review before, but I thought this store deserved its justice. I'm an avid comic collector, but more importantly, I love the hobby. I stopped into the original C&CS to see if someone would take some Pokémon cards when I was in a pinch, and Joe and his team were beyond the coolest people to work with. He offered such good metrics that I said yes on the spot.

The comics were catching my attention, but I've always been a Pokémon card guy. It's crazy to think that after visiting his store about 10 times now, I have a pretty decent comic collection 😂. Joe is one of the most down-to-earth and just straight-up cool people I've ever met. There's always a story and always a purchase every time I go into his store, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
