CaliFino Tequila — Attraction in Carlsbad

I really enjoyed CaliFino Tequila Tasting Room concept. Located in Carlsbad in a business plaza. We walked through the front door of their headquarter office space and was escorted to the back where it operates as a Sub-Limit Lounge room with a bar and venue space with golf/soccer simulator, music, billiard table, foosball, shuffle board, coaches and an upstairs loft. There are 3 lounge space, huge tv screens, and flex space.

They charge a monthly fee with 4 available membership package starting at $150 to $1000 or guest passes of $25 per hour or a daily flat rate of $40. We were lucky to have won free tastings. Everything on the bar menu is complimentary, don’t forget to tip!

We were allowed to bring food/snacks during our 2 hour stay. They don’t serve food.

The bar menu consist of 5 margaritas cocktails, 3 wine by the glass, 4 signature drinks or 3 beer on taps. They can also make mocktails.

I like my drinks refreshing with tequila blanco and gravitated towards:

-Tamarindo - blanco, tamarindo, lime, tajin

-Chiky’s cucumber- cucumber infused tequila, lime, agave, tajin

-Mexican Mule - blanco, lime, ginger, bitters.

Was able to sampled Pop’s Paloma which had resposado, lime, squirt and tajin. If we stayed another hour, this would have been my next full choice.

Also sampled Strawberry & Smoke which had Mezcal and I’m not a fan of that spirit. For sure it gave off a Smokey flavor.

The Cali Marg was a classic but it was way too strong for my light weight body and I traded it for the mule.

Needlessly to say, all their cocktails were tasty and strong.

There was a private party after us and they were setting up. Great venue space for birthdays and corporate gathering.

Plenty of parking and the lounge has its own entrance through the side of the building. Or they can lift up the garage door for more capacity.

Such a cool concept and high quality tequila. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing their booth at festivals around town and hopefully I could win a gift basket! You can find their tequila...

Such a cute place with the best bar tenders. Hosted my husbands birthday at this location last year in DEC and it was magical. This venue was perfect with enough space to lounge, dance and use their cool golf projector game and pool table.
