This review has been on my mind for a bit. I've been living here for a little while now and I have to say I love it so much. The community is amazing and the grounds are well taken care of. Huge shout out to Nate for helping me get settled. He was super informative, friendly and made me feel very welcome and at home right from the start.
So why not 5 stars you ask? Because of Angie. She is the other person that works in the office and any newcomers (and quite frankly current residents) should steer clear of her by any means necessary. She is the most unpleasant property manager I have ever had the displeasure of working with. If you love straight up aggressive phone calls and borderline harassing emails, then she's your gal. She is the one reason I might not consider living here in the future. I'm not sure why she is in this line of work because she is so off-putting and downright rude. If she had been the one to initially show me the apartment I would not be living here today.
I'm writing this review from my misc email because I am scared of what she might do if she knew I was writing this review. But I feel it would be dishonest to not give newcomers a heads up.
So pro-tip to all potential future residents: STAY AWAY FROM ANGIE! Only speak with Nate if you are able.
Keep in mind she is always watching you from her desk in the office. I know other residents who actively avoid her as well. It's an ongoing conversation I've had with several of my neighbors. If Angie ever leaves (a girl can dream) then I would definitely bump this review up to 5 stars.
I'd like to end this on a positive note so here's a big ol' THANK YOU to Nate. He is amazing and I really appreciate how above and beyond he goes in making new residents feel welcome and safe. Truly a man that knows how to treat people right.
EDIT: I dropped this review down to 3 stars after a nightmare experience trying to re-lease. The management team has gone downhill even more without Nate.
His replacement, Ty, is the most apathetic, waste of space. If you call him and ask him to do something, you're wasting your time. I'm not sure if it's negligence or straight up room temperature IQ but he will not get it done for you. He will give you attitude when you ask him to do his job (lots of "mmmhm. ok." as a templated response to concerns), much like Angie so I guess we now have Angie 2.0. I'm not sure what he does all day considering most all units are filled.
I've also walked in on Angie watching videos instead of doing her job. She stays at the office sometimes until 8pm (way past closing) so I don't understand why work isn't being completed.
Oh and please for the love of God fix the pool! I think it might finally be heated after a year of promises and blaming the owners. The fireplace never works. Jacuzzi is often on the fritz. Wifi also doesn't work in the pool area. As other people mentioned, the gd leafblowers never stop!!!!! And so early in the morning too :(
Greystar never misses an opportunity to charge us as much as they can. They reformatted their parking structure and you now have to pay to park in your own dang neighborhood. They nickel and dime every little thing.
The only redeeming people at Flower Fields are the maintenance guys, Gustavo and Mauricio. Angie and Ty should take notes from them about what good customer service and task completion looks like. It's really not that hard. If you hate people and hate doing your job, then maybe you shouldn't be in a customer facing role or...
Read moreI lived at Flower Fields for 2 years and couldn’t wait to leave.
It’s diabolical that they named this apartments after the ranunculus flower attraction in town to get 5 star reviews AND take credit for them. Already a shady business. Gave a 9-6 window of maintenance. Said to make arrangements for pets. They SKIPPED our unit. Living here is an inconvenience. They will give you a 9 hour window during a weekday where if you have to be home if you have pets (then not even show up). No apology from Angie in the office when I had to take off work the next day to let them in. The most maintenance, apartment issues, and nosy invasiveness that I have ever experienced renting. They “needed” to come inside more often in one year than anywhere else I have ever lived. Ants, roaches, termites. The wood of the buildings is crumbling. In the hot weather, your apartment will be raided by ants and they will do no maintenance to remedy the issue on the exterior or the property. THERE ARE ROACHES IN THE BUILDINGS. Old manager retaliated after I left a bad review because of no action about ants. Nathan “Nate” was the smallest, most petty man both literally and metaphorically. Leaf blowers start at 7:30 in the morning on Mondays, Tuesdays, even Saturdays. The yard work and gardening are constant. They rip up the flower bed at the entrance every few weeks to plant it with new plants constantly. It’s so wasteful and not sustainable. The people who work here are miserable and it shows. They are out to get their residents and charge them fees even when it is their fault and negligence and did not notify residents that their payment system was down. We were told to get a cashiers check when banks were closed and were charged a late fee when we were told it wasn’t our fault and we wouldn’t be charged. No one reads the email regarding rent, issues, etc. The only person on staff worth their salt is Gustavo, who is a one-man team but is actually helpful. Shoutout to Gustavo. The other residents hate it here. They also want to get out. The constant turnover and availability is for a reason. They will also ALWAYS charge you for carpet when you move out, because they replace the carpet EVERY TIME.
In short, DO NOT rent here. Don’t ever rent at Greystar. I never will again.
Don’t bother responding to this review, FF. You...
Read morewe moved into this "deluxe rental condominiums" 14 months ago. when we moved in the electric worker wrote out that we should not move in because the vent of the dryer was too close to the porch light. also they noted that the hot water heater was needed to be changed as well. we have had nothing but problems with all this. nothing has been fixed. the first rain we had here the master bedroom outside wall started to have the baseboard leak and the carpet began to get wet. we notified the worker of this but nothing has ever been done to our knowledge. mold started growing on the bottom of the wall and has been there for months now. during the summer the outside staircase that is the only entrance to our grown floor unit collapsed and i fell down them. The tenants upstairs even witnessed this and the complex did nothing not even called to see how i was or if I needed to seek treatment. the worker that was working here that day was later fired so her report was never received. they cover up anything and everything negative about this place. I was sitting in the hot tub one day and the grounds worker decided it was a good time to use a leaf blower to blow off the concrete around the hot tub....seriously right in my face. this is a sad outdated place that offers expensive living and...
