Escape To VR - Escape Rooms From The Multiverse — Local services in Carlsbad

This place is wild! My sister and I came to try out one of the VR adventure horror games. They didn’t have the game available since it is super new but they had an alternative for us to try (Mission Z I think it was called).

Boy am I glad we ended up doing that option. We are both a couple of scaredy cats and the After the Fall game would’ve been waaaay too realistic for us to handle. You wear these vests that vibrate when you’re hit or being attacked and it really added to the entire rollercoaster of an experience.

There was plenty of shouting and cursing and nearly jumping out of our pants. It was a helluva good time 😄 They also let us play an additional game since we didn’t get to play the one we requested which we really appreciated. I recommend the pirate skeleton shooting game for those that are easily spooked.

Headsets are pretty good although I’m not sure I could play for too much longer than an hour due the weight of them. April (?) was a massive help and super friendly. She took photos and videos of us playing and shared them with us. Watching the playback is a riot 😂

Check this place out if you haven’t! It’s super immersive but not in a nauseous...

WOW!!!! We had so much fun!!!!

We came with our 7 year old and although he was younger than the average age of kids, he killed it!

We did the Dragon escape room. I personally hate dragons so I wasn’t excited about but i LOVED IT.

My son actually solved a lot of the puzzles and we managed to complete the escape room with seconds to spare!

We will 100% be back to do the other escape rooms and maybe even the laser tag!

Bonus, the man in charge was so friendly and he took photos and videos of us while we were doing the VR thing which made me SO HAPPY!! That is very rare to find.

UPDATE: WE have now done 3 games and plan on doing all of them if we can :)

We did the underwater one which was SUPER FUN and for us the easiest our of the other games we played.

We also did the MANOR OF ESCAPE but the first level (out of 3) our 7 year old couldn't see that much because he's short and in the game you are sort of "drowning" so this one may not be good for super...

As VR newbies, we were blown away! The mansion escape room was a thrilling experience, with just the right amount of scares. It's definitely important to get comfortable with the hand controls, it was towards the end that we figured out the mechanics, but the end was the best part. We did need all the hints, and the owner was super helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience really fun. We were surprised by how much of a workout it was – we were sweating by the end, and we are both bodybuilders. This should have been a breeze. The hour flew by due to the engaging activities. We had such a good time that we're already planning a return trip. Now that we know the ropes, we're excited to try again and see if we can improve our time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and engaging escape...
