Had some great stuff, maybe not ideal for kids under 3/4. Greatful we have the opportunity to let our kids stay social. However, while not surprised, I was a bit disappointed that they were requiring masks...even for the kids. This place is trying to encourage kids to go into stem, which is fantastic! But also have a very anti science policy. It's pointless unless you have a surgical mask. And kids are the lowest risk population for coof, tend to fare better in the case of getting this. We DO, however, know that hiding half of your face when interacting with a child who is developing is DEFINITELY harmful (I'm dealing with it now, my 2.5 year old doesn't speak). I don't anticipate for a second that my remark will do anything in terms of a policy change, but I would appreciate it if the leadership here did some research into whether the detriment of masking possibly outweighs the risk of coof for the population that this place is for. It's really performative, makes certain people feel more comfortable.... meanwhile, children are attempting to develop connections with people without being able to read 2/3 of their faces. This "abundance of caution" is literally harmful to our kids. Not intended to be political, but the science doesn't support this & I think it should be optional...the cloth masks are utterly pointless, while having very clear drawbacks.

Food for thought is all. Thank you for coming to...

This is the worst place I have ever been, I will never bring my kid here again. My daughter is almost all the way potty trained, and she had an accident. No big deal, it happens. We cleaned up the potty on the floor and my girlfriend took her in the bathroom to change her. As my girlfriend and daughter are walking into the bathroom the employee walks up and starts chastising my 4 year old. Telling her that she made a mess and now other people have to pick it up. My daughter is already upset that she had an accent and this old lady is standing there yelling at my daughter. Completely unacceptable! She was incredibly rude from the moment we walked in. As we were leaving, after my daughter was all changed, she gave us an incredibly rude look and started telling everyone in the lobby 'a girl peed herself and made a mess I had to go clean it!' I will never...

I came here as a kid, on vacation. Over 20 years later, I brought our son here. It's just as fun as I remember. Even some of the stuff was the same. He had a very good time and everything was very well kept.

Edit August 8, 2025: came to the museum today and all was going well until a staff member came up and said the big kids weren't allowed in the toddler area. No problem. But after that, multiple older kids went in to this area, the employee who told me my kid wasn't allowed in there WATCHED these kids be in there and said nothing. Not until I went up and called her out for tell me my kid couldn't be in there but she's watched multiple kids go in there and never said anything. Seems like she just had it out for my kid and he wasn't doing anything wrong. I think we will choose a park...

The museum staff found my children unruly and questioned the ability or reasoning behind why a family would have more than one child. Their staff made her way around the event sharing her feelings and criticizing the temperament of the children at play. ADA accessibility needs to be assessed, mainly because the elevator is controlled by the same staffer at the main entrance, while the elevator for the disabled (Military Service Disabled in my case) it is not ideal if you would like to stay with your group as it takes long periods to get assistance. The location is a repurposing of a cafeteria or so it seems. Their exhibits feel like there is no connection between exhibits. The experience was lackluster and I am not eager to return at any point going forward.
