Brewery Arts Center — Attraction in Carson City

The Brewery Arts Center really Fosters and amazing relationship between the Carson City Community & the Arts. There's constantly activity and things that involve the community - typically at a free (or very low charge amount) which makes it so inclusive and accessible! There's such an amazing group of people involved with the activities here and who volunteer their time that I would highly recommend anyone new to the area to come get involved.

Fondly referred to as the BAC, people in the community love the activities and opportunities provided. The BAC does an excellent job of putting on events like the Levitt Amp concert series , Wheeled Food Wednesdays (food trucks on Wednesday evenings), as well as boasting an incredible art gallery with local artists and some pretty fantastic theater productions in partnership with a couple different organizations.

The BAC is definitely a hub of information, interaction, and genuine connection for this community! The BAC provides a unique venue and inclusive attitude for people interested in nearly any portion of the Arts.

If anyone ever wanted to invest in the Arts, I can think of no better place and of no better usage of resources than those available at the Brewery...

Great performance by all of the actors! What an enjoyable Sunday afternoon watching art come to life through such talented individuals.

I especially appreciated the nice touch at the end — the actors taking their time during the curtain call to greet and thank all of the patrons. That made the experience even more personal and memorable.

However, my first impression of the venue itself wasn’t great. This was my first time visiting, and we had difficulty finding parking since it wasn’t clear whether parking across by the church was allowed. We were able to find street parking and walked across. Once we arrived, we had trouble figuring out where to enter for the main stage performance.

Unfortunately, the woman at the concessions counter (confections) was not helpful or friendly, which made things even more confusing. We ended up walking back and forth between buildings trying to find the correct entrance.

The performance was 5-star, but the venue experience — especially the initial interaction at the concessions counter — was disappointing. NO stars.

Went there sat. Eve for the music under the stars. Music was great. The event was set up rrally well , there was plenty of food vendors, room for dancing. But the best part was strolling threw the art gallery that stayed open to all. They asked me if i csred to vote for my top 3 painting and i did care to, and did. It ment more time to look the art over again, and maybe my vote counted for those 3 All in all i had a really nice time. Will do it threw the rest of the ongoing event....
