This was a neat little place. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind as well as informative. We actually didn't know much about the Battle of Carthage and he gave us great information and details so we had a clearer image of what we would be looking at. My children are younger. It was hard to read everything and really take in the bloody history that took place. It was a lot smaller then I expected but displays so much educational and historical value. We did not have a bad experience just not on par with the other civil war museums we have been to.
