First time there and didn't know where I was supposed to order. Lady at the counter wasn't very friendly, maybe it was the language barrier, but I got the feeling she really didn't care if I ate there or not. I sat down in the restaurant area and after no one came to take my order I went to the front counter and told them what I wanted, the lady picks up the phone and calls the back. I ordered the Garnachas with asada, as I wanted to try something different. Its basically nachos on miniature corn tortillas. The asada was over cooked and some pieces were tough. I'm looking for a good authentic place, but this one wasn't it. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing as I read some good reviews. I'll have to try them again and order something different. The opinions stated here are my own and not provided to me by the owner/operator of this establishment. My goal is to provide honest feedback on my experience, and encourage everyone to provide feedback on their experience. Your experience and opinion may differ based on a number of factors. I've been coming here for years and I've always liked their meals, specially the breakfast options. But I've noticed that since a year ago, not sure if they changed cooks or what but the food now tastes commercially made, also, it tastes like Mexican cuisine, don't get me wrong, I love me a Mexican cuisine but if I come to a Guatemalan restaurant, I expect that type of food, specially if I've already tried it in the past; also, i ordered a plate and it was missing items, as in they no longer offered that plate with those items, a menu update would need to be done. The waitress/host/cashier, was very nice. Now, the selection of odds and ends its great, their bread section is not good for my diet. Great selection of bread. Will definitely come back but will be ordering...

I love this place. The food is so delicious. The atmosphere is not so great...bright green walls and you walk through the grocery store/bakery to get to the restaurant but I could care less...the food is soooo good. I love the pupusas and the fried plantains served with cream and beans. The green hot sauce is delicious and quite spicy. You can also order to take out...which I do but can barely get home with the food...it smells devine. So so much better than any of the so called Mexican restaurants around here. They serve Salvadoran and Mexican food. This is...

We love this place! Never had a bad meal there to date. My husband loves the mojarra frita every time and had it with fried shrimp on it last night! So delicious! I try something different every time and haven’t been disappointed. I had the Guatemalan tamal which is deliciously flavored by the banana leaf it’s wrapped in and tried the bean and cheese pupusa for the first time. Everything was delicious as usual! Definitely recommend this place😄

I had a good image of this place and the food they offer, but they disappointed me with the hair that I found when I opened my bottle of cream that they gave me in my "rellenitos" that I bought to take away and also the rellenitos tasted horrible .
