Recommended by Jeff next door and did not let me down! I ordered 2 beef and 2 chicken street tacos. Thursdays are Taco Thursdays and $1.50 each. I put the hot sauce, verde sauce and some lime juice on mine. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu! If you are in the Carthage area, this is a must try!

I don't give five stars lightly. The flavor is the reason. I am a sucker for birria and the quesabirria tacos were excellent. The slow roasted shredded meat and the consomé has such a depth of flavor. Rice and refried beans have their own flavor unlike most places that just are bland. Salsa is a fresh cilantro profile that has great flavor. Most in the area just taste like crushed tomatoes. Chips are the thin cantina style which I prefer. Tried the Verde sauce and it has a good tart mild flavor and the rojo has a more prominent roasted flavor with more heat. WOW!! Food and customer service here are stellar!! I’ve tried their California Burrito, QuesaBirria Tacos w/consome, along with the Carne Asada, Chicken, Carnitas, Pastor, and Chorizo tacos, all DELICIOUS! I’ve been to Mexico multiple times and have had tacos all over! Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, etc, and this place is great! HIDDEN GEM of Carthage!!
