It was great. We learned a lot. The staff were able to answer our questions about certain things on display.. The staff was just amazing. In fact my husband was using his wallet to prop up the phone to take a picture of us and somehow forgot it on the table.. Thankfully someone was honest enough to turn it over to the staff..The staff went above and beyond to locate us.. They did some research on Facebook and located his picture and using Instant Messager they lett him know about his wallet. So he drove back to pick it up ..Had they not taken the time to find him it would've been awful.. Especially considering we're on vacation in a different state ..

Entertaining glimpse of the past. Several rooms of artifacts (large and small) related to the area and its history -- from indigenous peoples through the 60's. Friendly, well-informed staff shared history as well, regarding the schoolhouse that centers the property. If you're interested in history, it's definitely worth a stop.

There are some great old rock buildings in downtown casa grande. This Museum and a theater across the street are a couple of them. We went on a Sunday which they were closed but otherwise we would have gone through it. We walked all around it was a fun area.

Best "Small Town" history museum I've ever experienced.. an abundance of artifacts that tell the story of this town from its original Native American influence through the impact of the railroad's arrival and the arrival of organized agriculture.

Many rooms recreate various periods of history of the area including a merchandise store, a kitchen and a parlor from the 30's or 40's and many more interesting and informational items that paint the picture of the town all in a site easily walked in less that an hour. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful with...

Beautiful old stone building that became the museum in 1964. The hours of operation Sept thru April are 12 noon to 4pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Summer hours are limited to only the first Friday's of June, July, and August. I hadn't checked the times and missed it being opened. I'm a photographer though so was thrilled with the outside and spent time taking photos, and looking up history of the building. Just fabulous! Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and...
