I came to this place because people have recommended me to them, they have a lot of good reviews but in my opinion I was disappointed. I ordered 3 açaí bowls to go and when I got home the whole bowl was just the granola and fruit. There was barely any açaí so I call them, they explained that they’re weighed out to a certain amount, which is understandable but if you’re charging 11 dollars for each one you’d think you’re getting a decent amount. They also explained that their açaí is authentic quality which again is understandable but regardless if other companies mix their açaí with other fruits and milk they still give a good amount of açaí. The açaí to granola ratio was ridiculous. I straight up was eating granola majority of the bites I took. They also said they couldn’t give us a refund even when we said we’d take it back. We didn’t even eat them when we called we saw how much açaí was in the bowl and immediately called. Their reason for not giving us a refund was because we took it home but how else were we supposed to know how much we were getting until we got home to eat it… and we were willing to go back and bring the bowls with us. But we’re not gonna keep going back and forth with them. Also, these taste just like any other açaí bowl I’ve had except these had way less amount. They were good but For the amount you get it’s not...
Read moreDeadlift Coffee is a cute little spot tucked along the main street of town. There are a handful of small tables inside and a couple out front, making it a cozy place to sit and enjoy your drink.
We ordered the Pivot (hot) and the brown sugar mocha (also hot). Both were really tasty—the raspberry in the Pivot especially stood out in a good way.
They’ve got a nice variety of food options, including smoothies, protein shakes, acai bowls, waffles, and toast. We tried the Triangle acai bowl and the Bunny Hop liege waffle. The acai bowl was delicious and priced pretty comparably to other places. The waffle, though, was a bit of a letdown. I’ve never had a liege waffle before, but this one was super dry and crumbly—it basically fell apart when I tried to cut into it. The portion size seemed really small and at $11, it didn’t feel worth it.
The tables were clean, which I appreciated. The bathroom, however, could definitely use some attention. Like others have mentioned, the trash cans were overflowing, and the toilet’s flush handle seemed broken.
Overall, I’d recommend stopping by for a unique coffee, smoothie, or drink—their menu is fun and creative. But if you’re craving waffles, I’d suggest heading to a waffle spot where you’ll likely get more...
Read more0 stars. Worst place ive eaten in Casa Grande, 50bucks wasted. The woman who own this shop was a very rude and mean to me while I remained kind and conpassionate. It not the most welcoming place for certain minorities as I felt uncomfortable with how I was treated and spoken to by the owner .On top of that the food is bland and tasteless but what was worse was their deadlift shakes, they were , very disgusting and taste like bland baby food . I threw mine away it because It was terrible. Theres no culture or flavor is in this place or its food. This is by far the absolute worst restaurant ive ever been to in my entire life. Protect your peace and energy, and consume meals made by kind people, avoid eating here if you want a good customer service experience. There are so many places to eat that will be kind and loving and put that into their food and treat you well. Always eat places run by kind individuals, even if you have to drive to phoenix to get good quality its better than wasting your money here and being treated poorly. Atleast if the food was bad I wish the customer...
