Peart Park — Attraction in Casa Grande

I would not recommend this park to anyone. Despite it being on the grounds of the public safety building and right across the street from the chamber of commerce. They have not dobe anything to clean this park up.The park looks beautiful from a distance. However, it is the home of the Casa Grande homeless. A few times I have been followed around the park by a homeless woman. I try to bring my dog there so he can experience the feel of the grass again. We came from Minnesota. The park also is run over by pigeons. It smells really bad. But the good news is that they saw fit to put in a porta pottie so the homeless...

We planned to eat lunch at a nearby Cane's Chicken. Their lobby and dining area was not opened so ordered from car and went to the park to eat. It was a pleasant day but found only one picnic table available, (looked to be only two tables in the park) movdd it to a shady area and had a pleasant lunch with two other couples. Nice big trees and green grass with little weeds. No sand to play in (just wood chips) and homeless people and drug dealers that tried to walk off with my daughters purse, (i got it back) but still aside from that, they mostly hang out under the pagoda and keep to themselves... id go back but just cause its in walking distance.
