Bow Wow Meow is a pretty big thrift store with a great mission—supporting local dogs in need. It’s always nice knowing your purchase helps a good cause. The store has a wide variety of items, from clothes and furniture to books and home goods, and new things come in all the time. The volunteers who work there are super friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Casa Grande and love thrifting with purpose!

I do not understand why the building owner and the board have not provided us with a functioning air conditioner. Given that the goods we sell are donated and given that the labor is almost entirely free, I can’t believe overhead costs are so high that the board and building owner are unable to find the funds necessary to purchase a functioning air conditioner. I would ask board members myself, however, they do not have open meetings - one must be invited by a member to attend, which is itself unethical on myriad levels. Keeping the temperature at 88 degrees is not “tolerable” as one board member declared. It’s not tolerable for volunteers (who move around and well, work) or the customers we depend upon and trust me, I hear their surprise and disdain about temperatures within the store each day that I’m there. I have been volunteering for over a year at the store and I love the folks I work with and love what we provide to both the community and to the only no-kill shelter in the county. I do not want to quit volunteering there, however, there needs to be some changes. Open board meetings is an important start as it is quite important to hear from more than 1 or 2 of the many folks who volunteer. The board should also hear from the customers as well. A decently functioning air conditioner - to bring the store in line with OSHA standards and state law is of course another great place to start. Come on folks, do the...

They made my 5 yr old cry! I'm all about customer service making or break a business. Unfortunately the service was more concerned about talking about themselves than understanding their customers. While I was waiting patiently at the register to pay, my 5 year old daughter was sitting nicely on one of the many chairs by the registers..the lady who would not stop talking to my mom who was trying to shop, walks by my daughter and says condescending, "oh! You can't sit on that chair, that's why we have a sign on there." I was at the register waiting for the lady so I did not see any sign as it was facing the other way so I apologized and I told her my daughter is 5 and can't read.....the only reason my daughter was sitting is because this lady kept talking to my mom so she couldn't shop, and then I had to stand and wait at the front for her to come to the register, my daughter was exhausted. Anyway, my daughter is such a rule follower and was so sad she broke a rule. She broke down crying outside because she was yelled at and didn't understand what she did wrong for an adult to yell at her...we will never be going back, don't worry pups and kitties, I'll be donating right to the...

We have been coming here for over a year now. It was always a little crowded with "stuff" but they were always working on organizing and getting things sold. The jewelry prices have always been higher than they should. I can say that because a lot of the things in the cases have been there for the last 18 months. The back room was finely getting organized and now they are adding more racks stuffed with clothes. I couldn't even get between 2 racks last week. Today looks like they got a new person pricing things because things had new price tags and priced higher than ever before. It's hard to drive across town to walk out empty handed 9 times out of 10 the last 6 months or more. If the store is this crowded your prices are to high. We have seen so many great Thrift Stores close because someone thought they could make more money by raising prices. This is a great income for the animals please don't manage it into closing the...
