I would give 0 stars if possible. Be sure to eat here if you like bland food. The scramble eggs reminded us of hotel eggs, the country fried steak was overcooked and bland, the pancakes seemed over mixed as they were tough and flavorless. The only thing that was remotely good was the gravy and the potatoes (which could've used some seasonings). To start this review off, We were greeted with a friendly "we will be with you". We waited maybe 10 minutes for a table since all the tables were full and you can't necessarily make people eat faster. Three tables became open and we waited another ~8 minutes for three tables to be bussed by 4 people! The staff move like zombies unless they're not doing anything then they look busy. We were seated without another greeting nor a smile. The girl seemed like she hated her job, as did the others. They brought our tab with the meals which made it feel we were being rushed to eat and get out the door. Nobody came back to check on us and see how things were. The waitresses were sure to seat customers and take orders and act completely blind about the other guests. Never checking on other guests. We finished our meal and waited for what seemed like 10 minutes for a to go box. Our waitress finally came over to only pick up the empty plates we piled together and then realized we needed a box. I had to ask for one instead of her just automatically getting one. She asked how everything was and I told her it ok I guess and explained to her that one of the country fried steaks was overcooked. She responded with a small soft "oh". She didn't offer any resolution for this issue. 24 minutes after walking in the door we were receiving our food.

Silverware was clean, huge plus when I go to restaurants.

They had to clear a table for us and I was very pleased that the table was clean and dry, it's frustrating when the establishment washes your table and leaves it sopping wet. Cook E Jar does it right when they freshen up a table, thanks for that.

Pancakes are 4 star, delicious, fluffy, slightly golden and slightly doey in the middle according to the wife, I thought they were delicious.

I had 2eggs medium on top of my home style potatoes. Excellent flavor on those potatoes. Those eggs on my potatoes are 5 star, I yummed every bite.

Biscuits fluffy, gravy... I could taste the flour , Biscuits & Gravy was pretty good.

In general, food came out of the kitchen fast. The server checked in with us several times as passing by. Overall a good breakfast experience.

This was our second attempt and I'm sure we got in pretty quick because it was a weekday morning. Our first attempt was also on a weekday morning between Christmas and New Year's and the wait outside was 45 minutes so we left and went somewhere else. I normally have a decent experience however today was not. First- please share with the staff that handles both check out and food offerings to please sanitize or wash your hands after handling trash or changing it out. She went straight from handling the trash to handling the dessert items requested . Not hygienic and not ok. This was also the second time Ive paid for items I did not receive after requesting these specific amounts twice. Also, when a customer asks for a bag to carry item's because their walking, it would be a little more helpful to have the staff bag the items instead of just handing it to the customer to do themselves. Its called guest service. I understand it is a young girl I interacted with on these occasions but those little things with a smile and a thank you would also go a long way.
