i, with my puppy, went in on 1-8-19 and the two cashier girls are staring at me with looks on their faces like "what are you doing here". I don't know them and they don't know me. So, I say hello and tell them its my pups 1st time in the store. They laugh at me. They seem pretty shotty and stuck up (I'm sure there not but maybe they could have some training on how to approach people when they first walk in the door. They did say hello but it was in a snotty way, kinda condescending). Anyhow, I asked the girls if they hold the spay and neuter clinic there and they said no, we never have, any vet in town can do it. Again in a very rude way while they were looking at me like I was crazy or stupid or something. I continues shopping and bumped into 2 male employees (they were friendly and held normal convo.) Thank goodness there are aome employees here that are human and not stuck up. Then I got back to the caahiers and was ringing up my puppys goodies and I mentioned to the girl that I thought I may have an account, but I hadn't been in there since my dad died. I then mentioned how I do realize that I can get my pup neutered anywhere in town and that I am not stupid. The girl then said "You misunderstood us" (would have sounded better to say something like "I apologize if we came across in any way like that"). I gave the girls A chance to rebound and they kinda did. The other girl cashier brought me an application to be a member since the only account we could find was my dads. They did seem like they realized they came across rudely and they tried to rebound but it was in a shotty way. I suggest you train all your employees to better approach your customers. I will always avoid coming in there for now on. I went to the local Pet Sense and they seem to have traines there employees to be more friendly and human. So, I will be going there for my pets needs or Cal Ranch. I will never go to IFA in Cedar...
Read moreLove this IFA, the place is always clean and well stocked, products are nicely displayed and stocked. Prices are competitive to all other places around. There are a few things I noticed a bit higher priced and some much lower. Their baby chicks, ducks alway look well maintained and all the ones I have bought have been healthy and survived. The staff!!!! Oh I can’t say enough about the staff honestly some of the best employees I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Always very helpful knowledgeable great attitudes and just plain fun in many cases. I usually am leaving with a big smile on my face and laughing. They are all great when you bring your dog in to shop with you and training it to be a good well behaved dog. They seem to be great with every breed of dog from what I have seen. No bias towards certain breeds. Honestly one of my favorite shops in cedar they even have great candy and snack foods.oh and on the weekends they have the farmers market!!!!!! ❤️ D9 custom cuts for amazing meat great prices and pic up some knuckle bones for your pups. They also are amazing people very helpful...
Read moreMy landscaper sent me to IFA with a list. :) I’ve never done yard work and had no idea where to begin. Well it was truly my lucky day. Linda greeted me at the door to inform me the systems were down. I then asked if someone would be available to assist me. Linda was more than willing to help me. I explained what my landscaper said I needed and showed her pictures of my lawn. Not only did she take the time to get me what I needed, but she explained the process to use the items and some tips and tricks I would have never known. She truly went above and beyond to assist me. She even showed me products I should consider purchasing towards the end of summer. I was in awe of her patience and knowledge. I left feeling like I could actually tackle some of this on my own. I also lucked out with Liz as my check out gal. She was just as friendly, kind and helpful. The folks at IFA in Cedar City truly love what they do and they understand their products and customers. Absolutely...
