I went in thursday May 18th to get my lashes done they looked great, when i left a few fell out by the time i got home i lost at least 10 from the same eye. I called the next day Friday and they said they would fix it so i went in they fixed the eye with the lashes falling out. By Tuesday that same eye was Visibly thinner and missing alot more lashes i went in Wednesday they said she was not in and they would fix one more time but it was not their fault that i didnt know how to take care of them (i had been doing exactly what she told me to do that friday) i told him the other lash was fine so it doesnt make sense but okay. I called today Thursday and she said to come in. I went in and said its the same eye and she said it was because it had been two weeks. I told her i could show her the receipt that it was not two weeks ago and she called me a liar and said she wasnt doing anything for me. I asked why she called me a liar when i could show her the receipt and it was not my fault she cant remember her days. She then proceeded to tell me that this is why she doesnt like to serve people who look like me. (Im assuming shes talking about my race, i am white) so i asked her what she meant by that and she has me in the small wax room not letting me leave and started laughing and mocking me. So i pushed passed her and left. When i got home i sent the receipt they wanted to refund me 30 dollars. Less than half of what i paid. After arguing they finally agreed to refund me half. Read moreONLY GO TO ALEX!! They are not the same as they were a few years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many things went wrong today. First, I had an appointment at 11:30 and did not get seen until 12:45. Nobody wanted to do my first choice of design because it would take too long (who cares as long as I am paying-just lazy). Next, I chose a design with one color. Very simple and basic. I wanted a light blue and the book they gave me did not have the blue I was looking for. She made me get that color anyway. She did her own design. The nails were different lengths (nail lady said it wouldn't matter because my nails were clear) and my friends was crooked. In the end, she asked if I liked them and I said no.
Went TOTALLY CRAZY, threw my Iphone 12 and agressively held my hand. I literally had to rip my hand away. Then she cut profusely into the acrylics. I said it hurt and she then said she didn't care, she didn't like people like me (I am black), and that I am not welcomed back. I asked her to soak them off or at least file them because my nails literally have chips. She and another coworker said no and that I could do it myself.
I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE experienced something like this and am pist that she didn't at least take them off. Read moreIt sounds like a few others had the same experience at this nail salon. They offer you water, which I thought was very nice, and appreciated that. While the store itself is kept clean and neat, I unfortunately cannot say that for my hands/nails. While applying the nails the woman tore open my finger, causing it to bleed, nothing was done. Also, my nails were quite uneven. I mentioned something to the lady (this was hard because I'm usually passive aggressive but the nail was just so weird/stuck up that I couldn't help it). The woman held up my pinky fingers next to each other and said, "They look even to me." She continued doing her work, ignoring my request if she could please file the one nail down. I didn't push the request further because she was on her phone taking calls and texts.
