Misleading sales representative. Super unhelpful. Charges double the normal Verizon restocking fee. Secretive about itemized charges until after you pay. I was about to leave Verizon altogether until I found out that this isn't even a real Verizon store. Verizon customer service has limited recourse to help because it's a 3rd party retailer. Do yourself a favor and go to the store in Waterloo or just buy online. Edit: Dean was the associate I had the particular misfortune of having to deal with. That may have increased the unpleasantness of my experience, but they definitely have some business level policy problems.
UPDATE: A-wireless customer service has agreed to refund all of my money after a discussion regarding my experience. I have added a star to the review accordingly. Kudos to their higher level customer service for being responsive to feedback. Hopefully they get things straightened out at this store so cedar falls can have a convenient in town location for doing Verizon...
Read moreVery nice employees that is for sure, but I do not think that they are totally educated on 5G yet. I ordered my phone from the crossroads location which is a corporate store. I needed a 5G card for my new phone I received in the mail. Wanted to go to this one because it was closer to me. I was not aware that this one is not a corporate location, and they would charge me $20 (Which was really pricey to take the card out of one phone and put it in the other). I told them that the card in my old phone was not 5G and I am paying for 5G. So I will need a 5G card. They said nope. It will work in 5G so you do not need a new card.
Yes my phone worked on my number but when I went back to the corporate store they said that it needed to be a 5G card. Meaning I paid $20 for no reason. Corporate store didn't charge me for the new cards.
Long story short, you may just want to go to the Verizon corporate to get things done if you're a...
Read morePaid the sales tax on an iphone 14 to start my contract. I was on my way to pick up the phone and got an email saying my order was cancelled. I called and I was told since I didn't like the color that he cancelled my order. I told him on the phone 2 hours before I was on my way, regardless of color, I will be there to pick up the device. I never gave consent to canceling my order, nor did I cancel the order. The guy there (didn't give me his name) told me this then hung up before I could ask questions about why my order was cancelled without my consent. Talk about consumer rights violations. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen and I may end up going through with it. Whoever the guy was he's a fraud and does things without the consent of the consumer. He needs fired. I'll get his name soon, though, and file a complaint and take...
