DO NOT ORDER A CAKE FROM THEIR BAKERY!
I placed an online cake order on Monday, September 9, 2024 to be picked up today, Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10am. I got a confirmation email that my order was received by the store on Monday after I ordered. I never heard anything else from the store so I assumed my order was good to go. Today I get a call from the store at 9:20am letting me know that they just got my order offline and don't know if they have the Bluey kit they need to make the cake. She placed me on hold and said she would go look for it to see if they even have it. (The lady had zero customer service skills over the phone by the way she was talking) Please keep in mind I was suppose to be picking up a finished cake at 10am instead of receiving a call at 9:20am that they don't even know if they can do it. She came back to the phone after a long hold and said she was STILL looking for the kit which at that point in my mind I knew they didn't have it. And honestly I was already upset because I should have been informed of this on Monday when I placed my order or Tuesday at the latest. After being put on hold AGAIN, I hung up. She called again a little while later and left a voicemail stating that they in fact DO NOT have the Bluey kit and cannot make the cake I ordered and that if I wanted something else "I need to hurry up and call them back" so they can see if they have it. Why have an online ordering system for customers as a convenience when really it's huge inconvenience because now I don't have a cake for my daughter's birthday and I'm having to go through other measures to try to get her the cake she wants and her birthday is in less than 24 hours. Also, I did try calling to speak with the store manager and the phone just rings and rings into eternity. Can't even leave a voicemail or anything. I ended up having to contact Kroger corporate to at least let them know this is happening so that maybe the next mom won't have to deal...
Read moreYesterday morning I placed an order only to find that I could not get my items immediately or even within a couple of hours. I'd have to wait for a time slot that was 4-6 hours out. So I placed the order only to be called 3 hours after I placed it to be told that I won't be able to get my order during the time slot I selected but it'll be an additional 2-4 hours later... Out of frustration, I canceled the order but decided to go ahead and give them another try. So I placed a second order and choose next day in the am between 8-9. I arrived and that's when I was notified that 50% of my order was out of stock and they substituted it with items I didn't order nor wanted and they didn't even inform me prior to me arriving. I told her to cancel that part of my order and refund the money. I've been waiting all day for my refund to hit my account. So I called in to customer service just to be told that it'll take 7-10 business days... At this point it's laughable how a company such as Kroger could be so out of date and behind on operations. This is in a major subdivision of Dallas. You'd think they would have cutting edge technology and superb and quality customer service. Across the way at Target, I can order anything without having to worry about meeting an order minimum of $35 to have my items brought out to my car and I don't have to select a specified time slot and if by chance they are out of stock on an item, they notify me via email or their app, once I cancel that item from my order, my money is immediately refunded back into my account. Needless to say, I'm team TARGET from this day moving forward. I will NEVER even step foot into another Kroger store in my life even if what I need is on sale with 90% off my entire purchase and Beyonce is spotted on isle 9, I'd rather pay a higher price at Target knowing I'm going to receive overall better customer service and satisfaction. Goodbye...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Walking into Kroger's floral department, you'd expect the usual scene – flowers, gifts, and balloons. But on this particular day, we were treated to an extraordinary sight that turned a regular chore into the highlight of our week! Mitch, donned in a Donald Duck costume, complete with yellow tights, webbed feet and a dashing sailor suit, stood at the heart of it all. He wasn't just picking up balloons; he was delivering smiles and a performance that would rival any Disney parade!
As if his costume wasn't enough to cause a delightful stir, the staff at Kroger went above and beyond to make his lost bet unforgettable. They had Mitch belt out the nursery rhyme 'I'm a little teapot' over the store speakers – a performance that was quite the melodic treat! It's not every day you see a full-grown man in a duck outfit, serenading a store full of shoppers with such gusto. Mitch may have suffered some embarrassment, but everyone seemed to enjoy how silly Mitch looked and acted for losing a bet!
The entire Kroger team was in on the fun, serving not just flowers and balloons, but a hefty dose of joy and laughter. They cheered Mitch on, their giggles echoing as he waddled to the checkout. They even made sure he waited in line to pay, maximizing the merriment for everyone around.
What could have been an ordinary day was transformed into an episode of pure joy, all thanks to Mitch's endearing embarrassment and the Kroger staff's enthusiastic participation. It's community moments like these that turn a simple floral department into a stage for unforgettable memories. A big shoutout to the staff for their creativity and spirit!
More than one person asked Mitch to come back, I hope the manager reaches out as we would LOVE to send Mitch back out to this store or others brighten...
