Buyer Beware! My wife went in picked out tile for 2 bathrooms, a laundry room. We had them come out to measure, the guy that did the measurements was impressive his name was Jason.G. We would have loved for him to install the tile. However, things took a turn for the worse when she visited the store today. She brought in the list of supplies and the amount of tile she needed. She wanted to place the order and pay for it so Jason G could set up an install date. In the store the lady tells her today you need to go home and place the order online and pay for it online. They tell her she cannot pay for the order in the store. They tell her after that allow two hours for them to pull the order before she returns to pick it up. Really? That’s not what the website says. Next I get online to the website and am starting to place the order. The virtual assistant comes button offers to help. After several moments of run around it gives me an option to live chat. I would love that so I click on live chat. It then wants my email before live chat-why do you need an email to live chat? Finally I get on live chat after so much hassle I decide they did not want our business. I hung up and drove to the competition. Guess what with in an hour, I had tile, grout, and all necessary supplies ordered. They are sending a guy measure and install tile and a plumber to install two new toilet’s. In addition I am writing a review following this one about how customer centric the competition was to my elderly wife and myself. Not to mention I even unexpectedly saved quite a bit of money.

I wanted to leave a review of the Nucore "Butter Toast" LVP product. However, Floor and Décor does not allow product reviews on their site, so I am leaving review here on Google. Short review is do not buy, as I wasted over $8000 on this cheap product. Detailed review is below.

I have worked with and installed plenty of brands of flooring (Pergo, Home Decorators, Knoas, Lifeproof, etc.). This flooring by Nucore was by far the lowest quality. However, at a price point of $4.29 per square foot, it costs nearly double any of its competitors in plank size and color. The lock and snap system is flimsy to say the least, and will crack and shatter if not placed in exactly the right position. I installed about 900 sqft of my 1800 sqft purchased, and got too fed up that I hired a flooring installer who also said the floor was low quality.

Underlayment: In contrast to other flooring at the same price point or cheaper, the Nucore floor does not have an underlayment pre-attached. You will have to purchase additional underlayment materials on top of the floor costs.

Integrity: The product boasts a 20 year commercial warranty, however we noticed chipping issues immediately. And now I have only had my floor installed for less than 4 months, and more spots are chipping, cracking or separating. This is from light foot traffic only. See pictures. I will have to replace all the floor as soon as I have the money to do so.

To close, this floor was a waste of almost $9000....

This place is a treasure for sincere assistance in learning, choosing, and feeling secure in your choice of floor. I would like to point out a few of my outstanding encounters with employees there over several visits in last 2 weeks. Jesse found me, listened, and provided an outstanding comprehensive education on all vinyl plank products (so much to know) complete with comparison chart tear-offs & tours of learning tools in store. Alex found me and offered financing choice. Kevin King, Chief Executive Merchant clarified a warranty issue in writing, in minutes by phone, when a contractor stressed me out with incorrect installation information for a superior underlayment I had chosen. The multiple visits and time we chose to put into this project were all fruitful HERE. Visits to both of the big DIY store chains left us sad and discouraged. Advice: take your time, make multiple visits, put your own "wisdom" aside and play dumb......listen & you will learn so very much to assist your confidence in final decision.
