Talbots Outlet — Attraction in Cedar Park

I purchased the Barely Boot jeans in black on September 23rd. After a few months of wear, I noticed they had faded significantly. On Saturday, December 14th, I visited the Talbot's outlet in Cedar Park, where I originally bought the jeans, and explained my dissatisfaction, requesting a refund for the amount I paid. The associate strongly objected, claiming that all jeans wear differently, despite acknowledging the noticeable fading. I also spoke with the manager on duty, but she refused to accept the return, even after seeing the condition of the jeans. Talbot's prides itself on quality and attention to detail, but these jeans do not meet those standards. As a new customer, this experience has left me very disappointed, and based on this, I will not return to Talbot’s stores. At full price, which is around $100, I expected a much higher quality product. For comparison, I purchased a lower-cost pair of black jeans over a year ago, and they have shown no signs of fading despite being washed in the same manner. They work extremely well together and as a team keep the merchandise perfectly displayed so that you don’t find a size small item in any other place but the small sizes.
