Sadly, I’m done with this farmers market. Since they left the Lakeline Mall it’s become more of a hassle and less enjoyable. I have sat 3 rotations at the red light to go on Park St. then I need to make an immediate left again on Bell Blvd, which you can’t move because of the red light behind you and causing a line of cars so you can’t make a left. It’s such a struggle to enter the area. On top of now, They have to have 2 flag people to hold up traffic even more so pedestrians can walk across the street, holding back even more cars out into the intersection that is already congested. ( before you say anything, I know pedestrians need to walk across the street, that’s not my point. My point is even more traffic is being congested and out into the intersection. ) The mall was such an easier drive to and park without any issues. Venders were able to back in and unload. No idea what they are doing now. No one is backing up to their vender spot to unload. Today I was told by the flag people i HAD to park in a certain spot. I never had to before. I tried to explain my situation but she wouldn’t hear of it. To tell me where I had to park when I see parking closer to the area was ridiculous. I have always parked since they moved, close to the compost station. I usually have 3/4 heavy bags of compost. I’m not walking all the way down, passing venders to off load my bags of compost. And then have to back track my steps. I’m off loading my bags of compost first, to empty my bag so I can load up on the venders products. Well, not any more. That flag person was ridiculous, and I’m done. There is no need to control where people park. There are 2 parking lots and street parking. After I parked I saw 4 cars pass me and park where I needed to park. Go back to the Mall. Mueller, don’t even get me started on the parking there. Half the streets you can’t park on because it’s residential. Not to mention it’s even...
Read moreFirst Impression Visited the Cedar Park Farmers Market this morning to pick up my order. The place had a nice vibe with live music and the crowd.
Food & Drinks Many vendors offered great options, but quite a few stalls were out of samples, which made us skip purchases at some places.
Service & Ambience Best part is the family-friendly setup - swings for kids and benches for families to relax and enjoy food together. This is something missing in many other farmers markets.
Suggestions Would love to see more vendors restock their samples to keep the experience engaging. Shade areas would also make it easier to stay longer, especially...
Read moreI just went for the first time this past weekend(9-28-2024)and I was expecting traffic to be bad but it honestly wasn’t. I went around 11. Maybe I got lucky but not only was it not congested but I found a spot rather quickly up front. Someone in one of the reviews had mentioned vendors backing up and unloading. When I picked up my milk, their truck was right behind the set up tent. In fact, the person there, walked a few steps to his truck to get my milk order. The people next to him with veggies also had his truck parked next to his set up. I loved the shade and plenty of seating this time which is great bc I have a baby who could...
