The guy who helped me was nice but I was couldnāt eat the cookies after leaving and Iāll tell you why. I felt grossed out by the lack of hygiene and sanitation by pretty much everyone working. The guy who helped me at the cashier was was wearing a black shirt and had somewhat long hair which was not long enough for a bun or pony tail but he wasnāt wearing a hat or a food net or anything.
His black shirt was covered in hair dandruff. At first I though it was flour or sugar dust, but as I observed him help other get my cookies ready I realized in the approximately 5 minutes I was in there he stroked his hair which has no hair protection, probably 10-15 times and every time he did it I saw more and more dandruff fly everywhere. Nobody was wearing a hair net or a cap or anything and Iām pretty sure thatās violating health code in a food establishment. He put a single disposable glove on hand leaving his other hand glove free so he could stroke his hair but then he would grab my cookie box with that hand after touching everything with it. (His hair, money, peopleās credit cards) He then set the box down to reached over the box to grab some garnishing, but he couldnāt help it and stroke his hair which would constantly slide down his face , only now heās doing it over the box and all that dandruff is now flying into my box of cookies.
Other guy on the drive thru window also with longer hair swooped bang style, same thing touching his hair all the time and no cap, or hairnet. There was a girl that had long hair and she was wearing brades but I still feel that she should be eating a net or a hat. Nobody was wearing aprons. Even though as they touched the cookies they had glove on that particular hand, I feel that they should be using a utensil to move the cookies from the baking sheet to the delivery box it would be more sanitary. I didnāt say anything or make a scene as itās not my style, I was just never go back there again but I felt compelled to write this review because the people that enjoy this cookies should know what theyāre getting at this location and also in my opinion the franchise needs to be aware of these things as itās carrying their name brand.
Bottom line is, I spent about $45 in cookies and couldnāt get myself to eat them because that really just grossed me out. I had gone in the Ogden location Twisted Sugar that same day and can say the Centerville location was very disappointing. There is a crumbl cookie just down the street from you guys and they have very high cleaning standards, so you guys really need to step up your game to compete with them when it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDays before this place opened I saw someone outside redoing the sign on the building, before this was a twisted sugar it was a vacant ice cream place for years. I stopped and talked to Hayden whoās the owner of this location who was updating the sign and renovating the inside of the shop. He took me on a tour of the place and talked about the shop and his plans for this once unloved location. He talked with a huge amount of passion and I knew heād be successful here. He also told me to stop by when they open for a free cookie on him! Since that day several years ago Iāve stopped by the location a few times (even though I no longer live near here) just because of my interaction with Hayden (well and the delicious cookies š ) itās always great and the staff are always cheerful! My mom is now obsessed with this company and we have their cookies for pretty much every family party. Hayden now owns the Layton and Syracuse locations as well. Itās an easy company to support. In a state with so many cookie and soda shops, thereās only one that I feel not only delivers an amazing product, but does so ethically, enthusiastically, and authentically....

I absolutely LOVE Twisted Sugar and usually go to the one in West Point or Layton. Unfortunately, during my trip to their Centerville location the customer service wasn't the same great customer service I've come to expect from TS.
I was greeted by an young man that was too busy drinking a beverage to even acknowledge me. Another employee was sitting out at the patron tables on his phone just scrolling through the internet.
The young man that checked me out at the register was throwing out a vibe like he was annoyed I was there and wouldn't stop sipping on his drink while I was paying for my order. He never once said "hello", "how can I help you", or "goodbye".
I know this isn't on Twisted Sugar, but I sure am disappointed in the rude/irritated customer service I received while there, today.
Outside of this one interaction, I ALWAYS love the customer service and products I get from...
