This is entirely meant to be constructive, and I hope someone actually reads this as the manager wasn't willing to speak with me today. I placed a birthday order for donuts around 3:45 yesterday. It took almost 20 minutes to have the person helping me fill out an order form for 2 dozen donuts and take my payment. They confirmed it would be ready at 9am today. When I arrived today, there were already about 15 people in line and I had no idea if I should wait in line or go to the register, but decided to go to the register since I had already paid. The man helping me was very kind. However, he spent almost 15 minutes frantically looking for my order form that he could not find. He consulted in the back with the "manager" several times that could not be bothered to come up front. They "didn't make" two of the varieties of donuts that I ordered so I had to completely redo the orders and wait for them to be fulfilled. All in all, it was almost 45 minutes to get two dozen donuts that I ordered yesterday, and the orders were missing almost half the donuts I ordered. The challenge here is not the quality of donuts, we love BC. The issue is the lack of leadership, strong management, organization and process. I love supporting local but will stick with the SLC location until they figure...

The cake donuts still did not have a fresh texture to them. For 8:00 in the morning they should still have that very slight crunch to them on the outside. The taste is there but texture is a lot to me. Hoping this is just part of getting the processes down. I want to see them succeed and live up to the reputation that’s been built by the original store. The owner is great and has reached out to me personally and the staff is amazing.
Original review: Have tried the Centerville location multiple times but it just doesn’t live up to the great legacy and reputation that the Salt Lake store has built. I was the second customer on opening day and was extremely disappointed to find that the donuts had been cooked the day before. I’ve been back twice now and have found the cake donuts to not be fresh. The raised donuts have been fresh and great, which is why I didn’t give a lower rating. If the donuts can’t be made the morning of, what’s the point? I live in Kaysville but if I ever want Banbury enough again, I’ll pass Centerville and go...
Read moreThe customer service at the newer Centerville location has been second to none during each of our several visits so far. From free donuts during promotions, to regular walk-in or pickup orders, we have always felt welcome and well-attended to. Not to mention that Banbury has always been one of our absolute favorite places to get donuts. They’re so good! If you’ve been to the original Salt Lake location, I’m sure you know how darling that little house is that it’s in, so it’s hard to compete with the atmosphere that one creates. I would love to see the Centerville spot incorporate a more cozy interior to match closer to the feeling that even their cute boxes give off. Either way, that location has always been exceptionally clean inside and well-organized in there, but also seems so bare and generic. I’ll be interested to see how they do up the Layton location since it gets its own free-standing building like Salt Lake. Poor Centerville is part of a strip mall. An unappealing setting for a fantastic donut shop. I guess I’m just getting old with my nostalgia for popping in to that ol’ house in my youth several decades ago to slake a sweet tooth. Oh well. At least the donuts are still as crazy...
