MOTEL OF HORRORS!! BED BUG NIGHTMARE!!DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Please don't even think you'll be safe because your not. Entier building is infested. "Speaking my truth"(side note I contacted The Health dept. In ref to this horrible situation, the heath dept. Nurse called me back giving me all the information in ref to cleaning myself & clothing. She was extremely helpful and apologized to me. Stating no one should have to run across this NOTE: ALL THIRD FLOOR were INFESSTED WITH BED BUGS! Can't even think what the other floors are like, I'm just cringing over this!) I Checked in mid afternoon of the 24th of June 2018. First issue was my blankets had vomit on the main comforters, next a unknown liquid running dwn the headboard and finally the bed shirt was covering a dark, dark sick secret. BED BUGS have been in this room for a long time sucking on ur legs as u sleep! I'm a disabled LPN and all my education never prepared me for the true reality of this. These bugs were babies, adults and left there poo all around the seems of the matteres. I tried to work with the owners of Indian ethnic, they told me after they just took almost 500$'s for a week that it need to leave & they flew in, yep flew in as door was open! For me that was it! I tried to work with the owners they weren't having it & advised me to leave there property without giving me my money back! I JUST pray for all those other ppl will not bring home a unwanted critter. PLEASE IT MAY BE CHEAP NOT WORTH IT. I'm staying at Motel 6 that has a pool clean fresh and it's same price. What a world of a difference. Blessings to all. God Speed~♡ P.S. This isn't a joke this is very real okay. I hope this helps ppl moving fwrd so they don't have to go thru...
Read moreWe needed a hotel that was dog friendly for my husband’s work trip. This was a nightmare. Our dog didn’t even want to stay. The carpet was dirty, stains everywhere. There was a strong ammonia/urine smell that made my husband concerned about whether he could even stay the night. The room door was very hard to latch and kept coming open, and there was an open area under the door for bugs to come in. There was only a shower stall but also it was very small, sort of like a phone booth. The toilet seat was loose and the TV remote only worked intermittently. I did locate a small grassy area in a back alley where our dog could go and bagged diligently. She was always on leash, never barked once, nor was she even near anyone. One would have to see me walking her in the alley to know that there was a dog present at all.|My husband was out working with a colleague and needed more time with the hotel room for us. Though I’d already checked out to wait for him, he had me ask them for another day. I was sitting outside with our dog and all our bags, in the heat with a fracture boot on my right foot. I called the hotel from a bench outside. Unbelievably!!! Unbelievably he yelled and said, “We don’t want you because of your dog. Never come back.” He then hung up on me. |They left us to sit on the street,, ironically, refusing to let us stay in that awful room. Also, some very questionable clientele roaming about. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Never ever ever again. The other reviewers were correct. They aren’t really pet friendly and the place stinks of ammonia/urine. I can’t believe they carry the Wyndham name, very deceptive given the poor quality of their hotel and behavior of...
Read moreTried this hotel out while in town for Gettysburg, was greeted by a guy behind a glass window speaking through a microphone like we were prisoners, slid a tiny door open to exchange paperwork. Got our room up on the third floor, this room smelled so bad of some musty/mold/bleach smell, the sheets were yellow and soiled, definitely the rough side of town as you can see they have “resident” hotel room buyers that sit on the balcony smoking cigarettes talking about how they hope not to get kicked out of this hotel, classy. Next I noticed a man on the 3rd floor grilling me as I unloaded my bags out of the car, a woman pulled in and she ran up to his room, I don’t need to explain the rest. Once we noticed all what was going on we quickly booked another room a half mile down the road and got out of there, the manager that night seemed angry that we were leaving and tried to give us another room, get it right the first time. Try any of the better...
