My friend has begged me and begged me to go to this place, so I finally bit the bullet but the bullet bit me!!! They open at 4pm and we were there at 4:30. First ones there!!! We were greeted within 3 min of being seated. We ordered beverages from the bar which were good. I contemplated all the steaks and after discussing it with the waitress I settled for the 16 oz. ribeye MEDIUM RARE. The salad came out and was good. No bread is served with the meals, you must purchase garlic bread if you want any. We were then served our steaks. I cut into the middle and it was WELL DONE. I flagged down a lady I presume to be a manager and showed her the steak well done. She agreed and ask if I cared for another and I said yes MEDIUM RARE. I have provided a picture of the second steak at best it’s medium well to almost well done again. I just ate it. I try not to be “THAT GUEST” however I do fill that a place that is known for its steaks for many years I would think they would know how to prepare steak to the correct temperature requested. Plus, it was $40.00!!!! I’m not sure what happened. But I do fill gypped on this meal. I really don’t know that I would ever give them a second chance as they had 2 already and I was just in no way impressed. It is also super dark in the restaurant!!!!! Maybe so you can’t see the temperature of your steak!!!! Idk? Enjoy the pics!

Even though the Copper Kettle restaurant has been around since 1956 this is my first venture to this establishment in the 67 years it's been open. When you enter it seems like an old mansion that's been newly renovated in an upscale way. It's a place asking to be explored, each room has its unique appeal. Some are small rooms for a family, some are large for a gathering, then there's the main restaurant and bar spacious yet quaint. The food rivals some of the best 5 star restaurants. I went with the NY Strip and Crab Cake Special. The steak was amazing and at 1 lb would curb most appetites, the crab cake was the best I've had, hands down! I tasted the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Liquor 🍓 very flavorful for an after-dinner drink. The service was excellent, our server was very knowledgeable about each menu choice, prompt with each stage of the meal and our drinks were never spent. Kudos!👏 Looking for something new? A restaurant with the appeal? Food and beverages that are top-notch? This is the one! The Copper Kettle is unlikely to disappoint.

First, and last, time visiting unfortunately. I went here for my birthday dinner and was a bit disappointed. Our server was great, NO complaints with her, but the food was disappointing. My Cowboy Brisket was sliced so thin and was really dry, my side of broccoli was mush, my fiance's $40 filet mignon was really not flavorful, and was also supposed to be medium but it came out nearly rare (we sent it back and we NEVER send food back), my fiance's Blue Hawaiian was like 95% juice/mixer, and even our slice of chocolate cake was dry. We have had better meals at Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse honestly, and for half the price. The only good thing about the food here was it actually was the best caesar salad I've ever had... lol. Not worth the $145 tab for two people, though, at all.

The Wife and I went there for dinner (date night) and I chose The Copper Kettle from the reviews on multiple sites. When we got there the host was professional and sat us in one of the 4 front dining rooms. It had pictures of tall ships and nautical items.

The room was clean as a hospital but warm and inviting. Our server came and took or drink and appitizer order. (Sorry I forgot your name!) Through out the meal she was attentive but not annoying/pushy.

The wife got Lobster Bisque and I got the snapper soup (turtle) and a crab cake. Just to see what the wife would be getting for her main.

The wife about launched out of her seat at the flavor of her bisque and had me try it. It was SOO flavorful! I ate my Snapper in 40 seconds flat! It was one of the best Turtle soups I have had.

I got the house cut Prime Rib medum. It was out of this world! Juicy and tender great flavor and the sauteed mushrooms were great as well.

The wife got the sirloin and crab cake, medium as well. The sirloin was flavorful and the crab cake. . ohhh the crab cake!

The crab cake is at a 2:1/8 ratio crab:breading. nice chunks of crab and great plain or with butter and/or lemon!

For desert I got a piece of chocolate fudge cake and an Irish Coffee. The wife got a slice of inhouse lemon marange pie.

My cake was moise and sooo full of chocolate goodness. The wife's lemon was delicious as well. the leamon cream addition to the pie set it over the top as did the house made whipped cream!!

I will personally vouch with all the places I have eaten in the world that this place is HIGH on my list of great food and people!

Went in recently for my father in-laws 75th birthday with a large group ( 13 ) . Service was excellent. Everything else was just status quo. Known for there prime rib that is what at least 5 ordered. Everyone was content but not impressed. My wife got the chicken Oscar, one of my sons got the crab dip and the other got the seafood Alfredo. All had same opinion , it was OK. I ordered the Filet cooked Rare ( cool red center ) and it came out mid rare ( warm red center ). Not a huge deal since no steak houses around here understand this. The filet was very tender but it was not seasoned at all. Not ever the "kc butter" the menu touted. Ordered a drink 2 times. Knob creek. First time on the rocks , second round neat. Apparently neat is a $1 up charge lol. Never seen that in all my travels. How utterly silly. Don't care about the dollar per say , it was still cheap at $9.25 just made me laugh. Neat dictates no ice Not larger portion. To boot they put it in a brandy snifter so wrong glass and you can easily check portion pour and it was spot on. So no extra product just added a dollar for fun I guess? Anyway the 2 stars of the night where the warmed brie appetizer ( truly outstanding ) and our server. She was super friendly , very knowledgeable and efficient. Prices where at a decent level for the food we got. Good quality product just lacking in any flair and not prepared to it's potential. Would go again since I have read reviews that they do...
