TL;DR waited way too long in drove through to order, once it was my turn to order the first employee wouldn't take my order, then the second employee kept getting my order wrong, and lied to me about faulty equipment, till I told them I didn't trust them and drove off
After waiting 15 minutes in line in the drive through I got to the ordering screen, and the employee who was supposed to take my order just started berating me and asking if I couldn't see the menu. I tried explaining that I just drove up to the screen, but the employee was adamant that they were trying to get my order for the last few minutes and I just wasn't responding. I finally asked if I could just order, and another employee started speaking through the microphone. I gave my order twice, and the employee repeated it both times, but got the order wrong each time. Then the screen finally changed from an add to showing what they're putting in as my order, but the order on the screen was wrong. I told them the screen was wrong, and I was then told that the screen doesn't work and I should just ignore it, but the order showing on the screen was the exact same WRONG order that the employee had just repeated back to me. I finally told them I didn't trust that they could get food right, and drove away. The last few times I had been to this taco bell they had gotten something small wrong, like beef instead streak, even though the receipt said streak, and I paid the upcharge. Mistakes happen, and I'm not going to get upset over something small, but now I'm pretty certain I'm not going back to this...
Read moreSo, first I am a food delivery drivers door when I first came here I was told that the lobby was closed due to COVID , no problem, but then I get another order here, sees a sign that says the lobby is open but when I try the door it’s locked, and after waiting in the drive thru line for 10 minutes I am told I have to come inside to which I tell the lady that the doors were locked. She apologizes, gives me the order anyway, no problem.
I come in AGAIN the next day where I am told that the lobby is closed. Door is unlocked, sign still says lobby is open yet the lobby is closed? I say then why was I told to come in for the food delivery orders, employee doesn’t answer and gives me the order.
Next day, go through the drive thru for a order: “You have to come inside” ..... I say, very frustrated, that I just waited in this line and now y’all are saying I have to come inside again??? I end up getting the order through the drive thru but I’m at the point with this place that I’m about to start denying orders I get from them because dealing with them is gonna make me snap and go off on them.
If it’s a short staffed issue then they need to put a capacity number on the door. Maybe only 4 people at a time or just close the lobby in general because playing back and forth with people is not ok. I feel that they close the lobby when they want to and not when they’re short staffed. They need to do better. Two stars for the not making me go in for the order cause I surely would’ve denied those orders if I ended up...
Read moreTeam members were to busy talking about "Di** Sucking Lips) and had NO sense of urgency. I placed my order and the person at the counter then diapered into the back. After waiting 10 mins for my food and watching the employees walk around the back of the kitchen talking about this and that I walked to the front counter to ask about my food. After making eye contact with the manager Chasity Warner three or four times while she was making orders I still had to wait at the counter for 5 mins to get some service. She then asked me if I had received my order yet. I informed her no and I would like a refund that 15 mins is absurd for Taco Bell. I was given a full refund without an apology. My family and I go to this Taco Bell maybe once a month now and then and it has ALWAYS been a great, clean, friendly place. Until recently, the restaurant today was completely filthy. Trash was all over the floor and counters. I had to clean a seat off myself so I could sit and wait on my food.
