Mixed reviews here...giving the good and bad I've never been to Arrowhead before, I knew nothing of what to expect but my daughter wanted to bowl for her birthday party... First, the positive. I called two weeks ago, to reserve a birthday package. It was 200.00 Allows 8 to mini golf, 8 to bowl, show rental and 2 pitchers of soda 2 cheese pizzas.
They were friendly. They were easy going about what time I wanted (some have leagues on weekends) some have restrictions.
When we got there, they tended to us right away Polite, and let us decide mini golf or bowling first, the time for the pizzas and drinks ..they let us have two lanes to divide the bowlers (8) All very nice.
Show rental seemed clean, and they had all the sizes needed. We had a problem with the lane, they helped right away Later had a problem with the scoring machine, they helped right away. The girls were taking a very long time, they were patient. Didn't cut us off by hour, they let them finish in their own time.
And, the miniature golf is awesome Well done A full 18 holes Creative, the blacklight is fun Challenging holes and course Well spaced out Good music Well insulated from bowling noise And was a LOT of fun
Now...the not so good. 💥1 The food is overpriced. Maybe not to them, as I don't know their purchase costs But compared to other places .. A pitcher of soda is 9.50 For generic. Two were included with price, but we needed a refill as it was 8 people The quality, size of the pizza...was low, and small (Think small thin microwave pizza...but thinner and smaller) Definitely not enough to feed 8 children. And to "upgrade" to pepperoni, is an additional 5$. So for the quality and portion, I was unhappy. But, it's a bowling alley, not a restaurant.
💥2 They don't take debit, MasterCard, visa, credit of any type The ATM charges to use it on both ends as it's independent So it cost 6.00 to withdraw 20.00 to pay for the 9.50 pitcher of soda
💥3 The age and maintenance needs work The pool table didn't work. Just took money. The arcade games were partially not functioning And The ball selection is depressing I had 8 young girls most of them couldn't find balls under 12-14 lbs And two didn't finish their game as they grew tired of throwing balls too heavy.
So I think they need to invest in replacing and addressing a few things
All in all 200.00 is a savings if we had bought it...

The hot dogs looked like DRIED RAISINS and were $4 a peice... ( I wish I had taken pictures of our meal) ... THE BURGER, a frozen patty, probably microwaved, ...and Chilli cheese fries where you get 5 frozen crinkle fries with week and a half old canned chilly, microwaved like EVERYTHING else... MINI GOLF was our first game... $50 for 2 adults and 2 kids! I really thought that this was a great deal! We played with NO rules, it was just for the fun! But every little course was run down, and it smelled of urine. The carpet was ripped up around each hole, and everything just seemed old and worn out. ..........but the kids under 12 liked it...i guess...... BOWLING was bowling......🙂...
ARCADE....was worse than ANYWHERE I've ever been. The games EAT your tokens, and IF you get to play a game without it eating your money , you're lucky if you get the tickets you WIN, cause the games EAT those too!!!!! And then!!!....IF you are lucky enough to win 25- 75 tickets WITHOUT being jumped, you don't even get to choose your own prize... it's random! And DEF. NOT WORTH IT!!!...
The building really has potential but it's almost like no one one cares anymore... It's really such a shame!!! I would LOVE to see ARROWHEAD LANES flourish! I think if MORE LOCALS VISITED or APPLY TO WORK here, it could REALLY help this place out!
There are NOT ENOUGH places to take OUR CHILDREN around here... I really think if EVERYONE TRIED TO CARE, AT LEAST FOR OUR CHILDREN, WE COULD REALLY GOOD AROUND...
Read moreDo not come to this location – they are not accepting or willing to help facilitate people with disabilities! The staff at this location is not friendly and did not treat my disabled sister well.
My sister had a very negative experience at this location and I am writing a review on her behalf. My sister has a disability (Down Syndrome) and when you meet her, you can clearly tell that she has a disability despite the fact that she is 23. Her friend took her to this location on October 20th for a fun afternoon of bowling and the staff refused to put up the bumpers saying that she was too old despite the fact that her friend explained that she has a disability. This was not a bowling competition – just a regular game with a friend.
Her friend complained to the manager and still nothing was done so they were forced to bowl without bumpers and every ball my sister bowled went into the gutter. The staff was so rude about it that my sisters friend asked another friend to go in the following day and talk to the manager and the manager continued to insist that despite having a disability, they would not allow the bumpers...
