This is a church like none I have been in. This is truly a community support church. They live what they preach. They cancel church and have work give back Sunday projects. I have never been in a church where they tell you that if you need a little something of need (not want) to get you through the week like gas or food to take it out of the plate during the offering. No judgement. (local community version of like KTIS pay it forward Fridays). Non -Denominational but still Christ-centered dealing with real day to day issues from historical background but interpreted into todays realities (same problems different channel). Sermons are on point encapsulated in scripture without regurgitating a reading or 3. If you want to be involved and want to have your kids involved other than lip service and dropping them off for confirmation to fulfill some ritual concept then this is the place. A little more loud Rock and Roll Hill Song book as I prefer and little more lower volume Praise and Worship southern gospel music but they are alive!!! if you want your children to change the world this...
Read moreComing from the southwest corner of Maple Grove, MN we started attending Riverway almost 7 years ago now. We were seeking a church that was inclusive, had families with young kids as we just had twins, and a feeling of belonging. The messages are relatable to every day life, and have helped me and my wife in our own journey through marriage and raising young children. We love how Riverway connects with the community of Champlin, MN through donations, volunteering, and supporting those in need. We have made friends through small groups, my wife in "Fearless Moms", and the several other events to connect with others at the church.
P.S. The donuts and coffee are a nice little morning treat as well:)
Come check us out, and continue your journey through life with us.

Riverway was there for me when my marriage started having trouble; they were there for me when I had to transition to a single father. Fast forward a couple years I’m engaged to someone I met at Riverway, my boys are doing great, and Riverway is still there for me.
I recommend Riverway to anyone considering a new church or curious to learn...
