We did not have any food. I called earlier that day and was told they didn’t take same-day reservations and I was told if we came in around five it didn’t usually start getting busy until 530. When we arrived about 4:50 The hostess said it would be a 45 minute wait even though there were probably 2/3 of their tables vacant. I understand people had reservations, but I was told we could probably get a table around five after she said we couldn’t get a table. I asked if we could sit at the bar. The bar was about 20 seats empty and she said the bar Was very busy, but we could probably sit at the end by the door. It was obvious she was trying to encourage us to leave. So we left today. I called and spoke to a manager and explained to her what it happened. She kept going over and over about the bar and the pizza bar, etc. etc. etc. We had never been there before we didn’t know anything about the pizza bar or the regular bar, she said the bar was pretty busy but the pizza bar was totally open. I asked her if you had have reservations to sit at the bar and she said no those are first come first serve. It seemed The hostess was on a power trip. It was very strange with all the restaurants out there I would think restaurants would want new people trying their food. We return to our neighborhood in Chandler and ate at craft 64. They welcomed us with open arms and we had a delicious meal, we eat there often and I would highly recommend it. They were very busy, but their bar is always open if there are seats available. We will never attempt to go to Bella...
Read moreMy family visited for the first time on Tuesday and will not be returning. I don't usually write reviews unless an establishment really has a series of missteps. First, the waitress did not offer a kid's menu until once we already had an order in mind, which unnecessarily extended our wait time. We ordered a specialty pizza and a one-topping kid's pizza. Second, we found the portions disappointing for the price ($17 for a few toppings piled in the center of the pizza). We had to spread the toppings out ourselves. The pizza was heavy on bread and light on actual topics. Less than half of the kid's pizza was covered in cheese. Third, when it came to paying, the charge for the kid's pizza was more than $1 higher than what the menu stated. Fourth, when I pointed this out to the waitress she changed the price but it was still 25 cents higher than the menu. I wasn't about to point it out a second time, but this is not about the money. It's about the principle of charging what you say you will charge. Fifth, I am not a fan of the tip options on the mobile point of sale where the preset options were 20%, 25%, 30%, and up. What happened to 18% being the standard? To be clear, I tipped 20% because these are mostly not the waitress' fault.
Overall this place seems to be significantly up-charging and nickel and diming the customer and the food, even though it tasted good, was very lacking in portions and substance. I was actually shocked that averages 4.7 stars on Google. There are much better pizza options in the...
Read moreIncredibly delicious food, friendly staff and great service.
Had their Burrata for an appetizer. It came with wilted kale, apricot jam, house-made bread and balsamic glaze. The plate was delicious. I enjoyed all the different spices in the burrata along with the apricot jam. The mix of the two was incredible. The balsamic glaze added a little kick, which was delightful. It was a decent portion, so it’s a filling appetizer.
For my entrée, I had their Shrimp Scampi. I loved the delicious white wine lemon sauce along with the shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and meaty. The tomatoes were on the sweet and sour side, which complemented the dish well. The dish was delicious over all and was also a decent portion. Very tangy. I also got to try their Gnocchi Gorgonzola. The creaminess on the sauce was unbelievable and flavorful. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and had the perfect texture. The pancetta was delicious and its saltiness added lots of flavor to the dish. The arugula refreshed the palate from all the creamy goodness.
To drink I had their Red Sangria. It was delicious, fruity and strong. It was so chilly and refreshing. I recommend.
I also had the best server. She was very sweet, patient and attentive. She was very welcoming and made many recommendations. She knew the menu pretty well and was able to help me decide on what to get since it was my first time at their restaurant.
Thank you for a great time and such delicious food. Will be back....
