AZ nail salon — Local services in Chandler

I dont like to leave bad reviews if I can help it, because maybe I got them on a bad day. I made appointments for 3 mani and 3 pedicures for myself and my girls. We got there and waited 40 min past our appointment while regular customers were being sat ahead of us. Even though I checked in and said we were the 415 appointment, then said again we had an appointment before the other ladies she then said she thought we were walk ins. OK fine but now we were being rushed I had to keep telling them what we wanted. Only 1 of us got a pedicure and the other got nails. If I would have seen my daughters friends nails I would have cancelled everything then. It was so rushed and sloppy poor girl. I'm embarrassed now that I brought us here. My nails were done ok but rushed and did not give me an actual manicure only threw the dip on. ( no cuticle and nail file). I will say my nails look fine but they are short so it may be why they look better. They were friendly but it was akward all the way around and 2 of us still don't have our pedicures and it's to late to find a place to go. I do need to add that the music was ok until it wasn't. I wanted to add a video because I was a little shocked. I'm no prude but geeze it wasn't a night club and kids were there as well. The song was litteraly saying f my p over and over. It did look like regular customers were happy and they were busy so maybe it was just our bad luck. Lots of good reviews so as long as your comfortable speaking up for yourself I'm sure you would be fine. Update: nail salon has went way downhill!! Wow I’m shocked. I will never come here again. I got a fill on acrylics, and soon as I got home and out of out shower a nail broke. I have never had a nail break that fast. I had plans that night and had to glue my nail back on. It was such frustrating. They charge way too much for horrible nails that don’t stay on. About 3 days later another nail broke. The next day another one broke. I’m not rough with my nails. All I do is type. Also by the end of a week I had about 4 nails broke. I also got my eyebrows waxed here which was a huge mistake!!! I told her only clean them up as I like thick full eyebrows. After she was done I looked in the mirror at the shop and wanted to cry. She made my eyebrows so thin and I look like a different person. Why would she wax so much after she told me she would clean them up. I paid about 34 dollars for silly looking eyebrows. This is not the 1960s no woman wants pencil thin brows. Now it’s going to take forever for my full eyebrows to grow in. I never arch my eyebrows since they gave a natural arch and why I did it this time is silly and I’m mad at myself. I’m tired of coming here and paying money for nails that don’t last more than 5 days. Never again!!!

Hello, so today the salon lured me in with this text message sent to me yesterday 12/2/21 "We are offering you 10% off your next service Expires Dec-16-21" I want to first start off by saying that money is extremely tight and I don't have the privileges' to pamper myself as much anymore. I've come here A LOT in the past, bring out of town family friends etc. I consider myself loyal to this business when finances have more wiggle room. So literally saving even a quarter would peep my interest and get me through the door.

I really needed a small wax done, when I walked in I announced what service I needed and said the text I got from them got me in here to get it done. I understood it was under $10.00 so the 10% isn't a huge deal (50 cents to be exact) but figured I could just tip more and put it back in the employees pocket. So what I'm about to mention isn't about the money it's just the principal of how they handled business.

When I was paying after she didn't include the discount so I showed the text to her again, she started talking to the lady in front and the lady just said "A LIP WAX IS ONLY $5" and we just stared at each other blankly. She then proceeds to say it's ONLY for nail service (the text just said your next service) I was really embarrassed she announced to the busy salon I just had a lip wax done and also the fact she made me look desperate to save 10% on a little service.
