Highland Yard Vintage — Attraction in Chandler

My experience with Highland was great minus the awful treatment by the management. The emotionally manipulative games and threats defiantly hurt the spirits around the vendors! I’m speaking for myself. It’s so sad that something that could be so amazing has really gone down hill under the management. The amount of Chinese- Temu- Amazon- and Home Good/Marshall's items is profound. Buyers beware! I was asked to leave right before Thanksgiving, right after we spent a large amount on new inventory. This also came right after I received a cancer diagnosis. Do not expect to be treated any about of caring disease ring your life challenges. This is not a family environment. We came from out of town to check out this weekend's event. We found a couple of great pieces for the new house we are building. Our one disappointment was when we got home and unpacked, one of our pieces had a chip hidden under the price tag. The tag was stuck on and to be removed with lemon oil. I had inspected the piece before purchasing but didn't know I needed to look under the price tag. It may have genuinely been a mistake on the vendor's part, but I felt tricked. I love this place and look forward to going every month. The designers have a knack for putting beautiful pieces together. They inspire and their one-of-a-kind and vintage/upcycled approach to home decor is so refreshing compared to mass produced furniture stores. Though some of the selection is obviously ordered from catalogs and probably made in China, I'm just not drawn to those designers' spaces. So there's something for everyone for sure.
