Everyone here is just flat out rude! I came in here to do a return about a week and a half ago because customer service on the phone told me that because I purchased in store I would need to go in store. The Customer service representative made sure that I was going to be able to return the item and personally reached out to the manager at the store closest to me before going to the store when I got there dusty the manager was just flat out aggressive she shook my hand super hard like squeezed it with all her mite. Once I realized how she was being and how this was going to go I snapped back a little bit. After that She started to be a little bit nicer and was willing to help. She reached out to customer service to get my receipt number which I thought was already pre-arranged before I went to the store. ( I had them make sure beforehand because the nearest store is 40 min away from me) which is why o was taken back by the way I was being treated I will admit my product was pretty old, but it was still full and was causing me to break out all over my face it had no expiration date I purchased it because I had another bottle. I was finishing that one up and started using this one and it completely made me break out. anyway they ended up giving me my money back on a gift card which I was super grateful for. she asked me to give her a good review which I had done but I take my review back I went in today and they all seemed to be talking about me and just being rude one of The associates was giving a full-blown smile to somebody, but when she passed me, completely wiped her face and gave me a mean mug I seriously hate this store. Read moreThis is the rudest store in the area!!!! This is the second time I have gone in there and been treated poorly. The first time I was charged for the pumps that were suppose to be free when you bought the big sizes of hair products. They were out of one I wanted so I went to San Tan and there the pumps were free! IT WAS IN THE AD WHICH I KNEW but the first store said no. I re bought everything and returned what I bought to this store. That was a couple years ago...this time I went in and wanted help with moisturizers and was waiting at the end of the counter for the cashier to finish with a customer and when she finished her small talk she turned (she knew I had been there for a while) and said to me "MA'AM What can I help you with!!?" I raised my eyebrows because I wasn't expecting that and I told her I needed help with moisturizers and as she was walking over I said under my breath.."wow how rude!" She heard me and started to give me some excuse and I cut her off and told her that it is always that way when I go in there and they are all rude. They all look like clowns with the clown red hair and the caked on makeup I don't even know why I go there because I would never ask a clown for advice on make-up. I was only about the 3rd customer in there. I walked out and went to San Tan and the place was packed with people! I see why.... I was greeted by Lisa who was VERY friendly and helped me tremendously. She knew her products and her store because she walked me from end to end looking at moisturizers. I think she was the Prestige Mgr. I will NEVER EVER set foot in the Chandler store on Chandler Blvd. again!!! Read moreI was really disappointed that I did not receive the free gift of purchase that literally started today and apparently ran out already even though I purchased it this morning at 6 AM online and pick up in store. Before the store even opened…it showed I was going to get a free gift. I was then told that the free gift ran out weeks ago, even though the promotion with a free gift just started today as per my Ulta catalog stated. While picking it up from the mobile order counter and asking the sales girl about the free gift, she shrugged. As in an…oh well kind of shrug. I get it. I worked in retail for 30 years. Worked in cosmetics at Nordstrom as well. I understand these things happen. I guess I just expected to get a little bit better customer service in relaying the message. She then stated, “this is why people purchase online so they can get the free gift because in store they run out.” Ok. Fair enough. But maybe act like you care a little bit or deliver it more smoothly. No apology at all. Just disappointed in the smugness of the communication. I did end up returning the item as I didn’t want it without the gift. The girl at the register, during my return, seemed irritated by me and put off. I purchased all the time from this location, so I’m sorry I’m returning it due to false advertising. Usually with returns or exchanges I always get someone extremely lovely. In this case, they seem to be irritated that I existed. However, I usually get the most amazing customer service here. Most of the girls are lovely and give way better customer care than the other Ultas I frequent. I won’t let these 2 people tarnish the rest of the staff but they should...
