One of A Kind — Attraction in Charleston

Horrible experience, poor customer service and management! Purchased an ornamental wall hanger, walked six feet out of store and was approached by the sales girl with phone in hand, being told she needed me to come back and return the item! Stating the owner said it wasn’t for sale. I explained that I had asked her the price, she got a ladder, told me the price and I purchased it. It was apparent she was embarrassed, and asked if I would please talk to the owner on the phone. The owner Ms. Lee, processed to tell me I had to return the item, that it should not have been sold. I explained that it had a price tag on it , and per the law she had to honor the purchase. She stated she needed said item to hang other ornaments from ( mind you there are things hanging in the windows and over the counter). She stated if she found another one she would deliver it to me in the future. I did tell her that I would leave a negative review and she said she was sorry, but still needed it returned. I also told her I was local not a tourist, not that it should matter. I ended up returning the item, which I regret! After briefly searching my legal rights purchasing an item that clearly was for sale, after the transaction was finished it no longer belonged to Ms Lee.
