Old South Tours — Attraction in Charleston

My daughters, ages 14 and 20, and I took the ninety minute walking tour last week. I have been visiting Charleston for forty-five years and thought I knew a bit about the city and it's history. Well, our guide was amazing and I learned quite a bit. More importantly to me, he held my daughters' attention and entertained them the whole time; they loved the tour, even though neither of them are history buffs.

I hate that I cannot recall our guide's name - Steven, I believe. He made sure to stop at some "off the itinerary" spots and really provided an amazing experience for everyone. He is a born and bred Charlestonian, is very proud of his beautiful city and obviously loves his job!! I have been fortunate enough to have taken guided tours all over the world, and no one has ever done a better job than this nice gentleman.

A natural teacher and story-teller, Kay not only was extremely knowledgeable and shared informative and interesting historical information about the city, but she also added her personal point of view/perspective and did an amazing job engaging everyone in our tour group. I've had the opportunity to experience many tours over the years, and in many towns across the globe, and Kay and the Old South Walking Tour ranks really high on my list...
