I never knew about this location existed until I needed a desktop to add an attachment to an email reply on Wednesday, 02-07-24. If you're on Providence Rd in a certain direction during rush hour traffic, it can be a little tricky getting to the library. I ended up going farther down Providence, making a u-turn, and then taking a quick left then right into the parking lot.
The women's restroom was clean. Sitting at the computer station, I could hear that the attendant near the front door was very helpful as people went to the desk to ask questions.
I saw the Black History Month display, but just barely and only because I was looking for the restroom. I know that this is a smaller location, but the display should've been in a more prominent location. If you weren't coming out of a restroom or going anywhere near the room being used for a youth event, it's not easily seen at all. Hoping that wasn't done...
Read moreGreat library very easy to walk to if you live withen a mile or two of it. the staff is so wonderful ,helpful ,and consists of around 10 members (or at least from what I can tell) parking is limited but again you can easily walk to it since it’s the center of many neighborhoods!they have small little sections and it’s not overwelming.1/4 of it is a kids room where they have fun activities for all ages like movies ,etc. They have computers, book sales, nooks, toys and it’s right next to Harris teeter if you need to get some groceries.the other parts of the library are computer area, studying area ,waiting/sitting area but very open. When people talk about “bad staff”or “too small” I get a little frustrated because This is my favorite library,I’ve loved it since as long as I can remember, the staff has always greeted me with a smile ,it’s never crowded or noisy, and I’ve never run out of...

toddler Storytime: very fun and engaging. Kids are not expected to just sit in one area but can dance and walk around the room during the story time time.
One very negative aspect would be when I witnessed a librarian asking a Mother to go take her child for a walk because the baby was crying. The mother and child were in the children's area and the baby was doing what normal babies do it. The mother was very flustered and ended up just leaving the library. Things like this I find to be unacceptable, and hopefully it is not something that...
