Taipei Express — Restaurant in Charlotte

This is my third time eating at Taipei Express. I kind of ran into it on accident the first time I visited. I really had enjoyed their egg drop soup. It was tasty and less expensive. My first visit when I got a second bowl, I had accidentally thrown my spoon away so I asked for another one. The older lady with the black hair in a ponytail with bangs pointed to the eating area. I went to get a spoon. However, the spoons were stationed on top of the trash. I went back to the counter and asked for a spoon. She aggressively pointed to the dining area. I told her that I don't want a spoon from the trash area. She reluctantly gave me one from behind the counter.

The second visit was similar. This time, I ordered. She gave me a pen and receipt to sign for the purchase after, I used my credit card. When I had finished signing, she abruptly (snatched) the receipt from my hand. Needless to say...this is my...

Came here after watching Ladybird at the Manor theater. The lady that took my.order was very helpful when I asked about some.of the dishes and assumed correctly based off of one of my questions that I wanted what I ordered spicy. It wasn't very crowded when I visited with my friend at around 5pm on Saturday, maybe about 3-4 other customers came in and out while we ate. We ate in, but the food came out in take out containers and we got styrofoam plates to eat off of. The food was decent but there was an odd gritty texture in my double delight but it wasn't enough to make me not enjoy the food. It was seasoned well, just enough spice. We got large portions so the takeout containers became useful as we only had to ask for bags to take the rest home. Both of us didn't finish all of our food. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to go if you are looking for a quick bite and other places...

I had a great experience at Taipei Express. The staff is always so friendly. There was a very rude customer in the restaurant that had all kinds of special requests for duck sauce and chopsticks. The staff courteously fulfilled each of his requests in a cheerful manner. The guy leaves the store and comes back in and stated they were "making fun" of him which was completely not true. He said he was going to leave a negative Google review because of it. So if there's any negative reviews this evening, it was from this guy that was just looking for a fight to pick and a reason to leave a negative review. This was the kind of guy that gets off to leaving negative reviews. I never leave reviews anywhere but this guy wanting to bring down the hard workers at Taipei Express inspired me to leave one today. Keep doing what you're doing. You will always be my go-to for carry-out...
