I decide to go to this salon and take my daughter to the one in Highland Creek because my daughter wanted to do her hair for the first time.I asked for them to give me the appointment with someone that have a lot of experience doing balayage. They put my daughter with a Stylist level 1 meaning less experience to do my daughter her and she did a horrible job my daughter hair was stain and with patches al over her hair like cheetah prints. I contacted them and they said that I can go back that they will fix it but the same person have to do it per their policy and the manager was going to be there to make sure everything get done. I went there omg my daughter hair was not fix at all was even worse. I always take care of my daughter hair because she have a beautiful curly hair. The stylist said to me I did the balayage in her natural hair and thats why got patchy like that. I said if you knew that will happened why you did the balayage in her natural curly hair instead of straightening her hair first and than do the balayage. Like how this happened, why the manager that was there did not supervised her like they said, she did so many wrong things I even correct her because she was putting bleach and putting the hair with bleach in top of the hair that don’t supposed to be bleach without putting foil to separate the hair, she was not protecting the other hair and my daughter hair got more patches.I am so mad and sad and nobody did nothing to fix this. Not just that I paid $325 for a bad services. Now I will have to find another salon to see if someone can fix my daughter hair. I don’t blame the stylist she is learning and that’s why you have manager in the salon, to supervise so this doesn’t happened. You have stylist from level 1 to 6 for a reason. How you schedule my daughter with a stylist level one to do a balayage when my daughter never ever dye her hair before. Is horrible horrible. I don’t recommend this salon at all the one in...
Read moreMy hair cut experience from the Huntersville location was excellent. I felt very welcomed since it’s my first time using their service. My hair coloring experience was not impressed in Highland Creek location. I was treated with pretty cold attitudes. The first thing the stylist said was that her time is $150 per hour. Since my hair is quite dark it will cost her maybe 3 plus hours. She also doesn’t guarantee the results. I was shocked about how she priced it (online the charges depends on the type of the service) and the tone she talked to me. I also can see the way she glanced at me. I was wearing a t-shirt not a fancy dress like other customers, so maybe that’s why she threw out the money question before really hear me about my hair color questions. After I questioned her pricing, she said she can price me per service….well.. so what’s the $150 per hour deal ?! I stayed for the appointment just because I don’t have another time available. I was asking about my color lifting a bit light during the process. Despite my concern, she told me that she was the one should judge when it’s ready then she just left. This is not the first time that I colored my hair so I do know my own hair well. The color turned out super light and I had to ask to get another darker glaze on (of course with additional $40 something dollars). 2.5 out of the 3.5 hours was sitting/half laying on the hair wash station which was super uncomfortable. They just ignored my discomfort when I mentioned a few times. Overall a $400 medium length hair color (no highlights/foil) with bad attitude is not for me. I will still go to Hudson but just not Highland...
Read moreJessica was a nice hairstylist but then didn’t accommodate me when I decided to get my hair curled. I paid for a wash haircut and hair style. She washed, haircut and blew dry my hair but she talked me out of getting my hair curled even though I intended to have her curl it like she did my daughter when she went to Hudson. She talked me out of curling my hair because she thought that the curls on the tips from blow drying it would hold. Three or four minutes later I went to my car and I realize you know I really need my hair curled like I intended. So I went back in to see her and was told she was in a meeting. Then they said that she would charge me for styling my hair even though I paid for it. Then she proceeded to come out and say that I would have to wait for the next client to get her hair done of curl my hair. It did not make sense because I left earlier than planned after getting my wash hair cut and blow dry. I was very disappointed because she not only talked me out of getting my hair curled like I planned. I felt guilty for asking her to get my hair curled when she kept saying over and over that the blow dry tips was curled it looked pretty. I know it probably would’ve taken Jessica five minutes or less to curl my hair and everyone would’ve been happy. Let’s put a bad taste in my mouth since it was my first time...
